  1. Diedhiou is a trier and has scored important goals for us but he is limited with his qualities. His touch is poor, link up isn't up to the standard we want now, not much pace and never seems to have the ball under control. Afobe is much better all round and should he paired up front with Weimann. Diedhiou can do a job against certain teams but for the next level we want to be he's not good enough as Pack wasn't. Yesterday's "sitter" he missed wasn't really that easy to be fair by the way so shouldn't get any stick for that

They've hit it off straight away. Would they have known each other well before coming here? I know afobe was at Arsenal as a youngster so maybe knew each other back then when both in London
  3. Definitely, play him up top with Weimann with Palmer behind and those 3 will cause a lot of problems for teams.
  4. Do glad Afobe has got off to a flyer. I was pleased to sign but obviously a lot were not due to his record at Stoke which was understandable. Seems to be a confidence player and seems to be glad to be here after what's gone on at Stoke where something is definitely not right! Looks like he could be our 20+ goal striker. Touch wood he's not next on the injury list!
  5. Yeah Kalas wouldn't care. Baker has had questions about him, mainly injuries which wouldn't keep some defenders out like Kalas, and people on here saying Moore isn't the type of person to throw his body in front of a ball. Don't know if that's true but if it is then he might start getting braver after waiting 2 years for a place in the team knowing there's a guy with 80+ caps and years of premiership football in him waiting to get his chance.
  6. I voted Afobe. Has given our attack a lot more threat and gives us different opinions. Balls down the channels, behind the defence, he can hold up the ball, good touch and decent in air. Plus will press.
  7. Players can lose form. And players, even the best can get complacent knowing they'll keep their place if there's no one behind them in the pecking order. I was watching the man City game on the weekend and they said Kyle Walker is sometimes complacent as he has no real competition untill that recent signing they made.
  8. Will make those 3 defenders stay on form knowing that Williams is waiting to take a place
  9. I was thinking the other day it's a load of bollocks. You can't predict football.
  10. Over 900 passes and around 94% accuracy as well
  11. Why are Stoke struggling? On paper they have a very good team. They changed manager last season so is it poor manager or do the players just don't want to be there?
  12. Thought he'd left before that season. Do remember him though
  13. I watched a video recently where Arsene Wenger was talking about young defenders. He said it take to around the age of 23 for one to become good. In that time they will make more mistakes than senior ones but it's worth sticking by them. This season he will probably make more mistakes then Kalas, Baker but in 12/18 months we will have an outstanding defender if we stick by him

Apart from his obvious ability I noticed he was quite vocal. Very confident for an 18 year old just settling into a new team and country
