  1. Don't worry hell have another transfer window soon to get "his" team.

    Lump it City

We need to be playing well for more then 10 mins in a half. 2nd half we still didn't create many clear chances just kept the ball better

It is baffling as his scoring record is decent but as a team it doesn't seem to be working so it's either a change of formation or starts on the bench

Yeah fair enough it was better then decent. Some fans are still living off that 2 month spell thinking we still play like that, fluid one touch football. Its nothing like that now

Doesn't win much in the air for a lad of his size and clumsy with the ball at his feet.

    Lump it City

We had a couple of months before Xmas last year where the football was half decent. Apart from that it's been terrible. It's like the players have no idea what they're meant to be doing so they pass it about at the back then get bored and lump it forward

I've thought this for a while especially when Fammy plays and people moan about warnock, at least he gets his teams to get crosses in the box to utilise it!

Rotherham United v Bristol City Matchday Thread

Johnson worries more about the other team and try to out think them which probably results in him overloading the players with too much info instead of keeping it basic. Play to our strengths and the players will play more naturally. Plus as said before we play better with Taylor up top with his pressing forcing mistakes and throw ins deep in the opposite half. With Fammy it's lump it up and most of the time it comes straight back!

Matty Taylor - our hard nut

That's why we need him in the team. Maybe try him and Fammy up top at Rotherham?

    Nathan baker

Yeah I was thinking the same. The defence as a whole seemed to play well and don't remember a mistake being made really

    Kalas Injury

I had one recently, healed in a few weeks so month out?

    Bring back Taylor

I agree he's could be one of the best in the division but that would mean changing our style of play which Johnson doesn't seem to want to do. A 433 formation with Andy and COD / niclas either side would probably help bring out his best?

    Bring back Taylor

Anyone know our record when Fammy has started for us? It seems Johnson wants to play like Man City, play out from the back hence the Webster signing, pressing from the front and 1-2 touch passing which doesn't fit into his game.

Birmingham City Transfer Embargo / Points Deduction (Merged)

Wouldn't mind Che Adams from them if they do

Wasn't just him that was bad but he really hasn't played well all year and has he ever played well for us whilst playing on the wing? If he plays then it's no10 like ore Xmas last year but don't see him being able to fit in to the current formation
