  1. Didn't he join us at the start of that record breaking losing run?
  2. I looked at his stats the other day. Think he's lost more then he's won in 3 of his 6 jobs.
  3. Definitely go for an experienced one. I think it's obvious that Johnson had a problem managing the higher profile players. I think it's because those players came and quickly realised the amount of BS that came out of his mouth after having worked under better more experienced managers in their careers.
  4. I stuck £10 on him last night. I think he'd come here as well. Hopefully if he's showing a real interest in coming here it might impress the board. And championship winner and international manager isn't something to turn down.
  5. I think with a couple of signings we'd have a top 6 eleven. A midfield general, controller is needed. Just need to play a settled side really
  6. He'd be my number 1 choice. People probably see his age and think dinosaur because he doesn't splat out all the modern buzzwords. No nonsense, wealth of experience, respected
  7. I don't think any of top leagues in Europe have many BAME managers either?
  8. Exactly. I can see a club soon appointing a BAME candidate and then struggling. They'll be too scared to sack him for fear of being labeled racist. If you're good enough you'll get a chance.
  9. Id have Mick. Not everyone's cup of tea but I think he'd do well here. Not sure he's a yes man which people think SL likes?
  10. I bet a few of the players will be having a glass to celebrate
  11. Tempt him with one final challenge. I think he'd love to manage us
  12. As a realistic one it's Paul Cook. Would be good to have a big name foreign former player like Van Bommel but can't see that happening
  13. The last year has been a little stale but you have to thank him for making us a established championship club and of course that night against Man Utd.
  14. Exactly. Even the so called dinosaur managers will do one over him.
