  1. I wasn’t suggesting it was empty gestures or lip service , but I’m also not naive enough to think that he’d be clueless as to what’s been driving the fans bonkers for years!
  2. I don’t think it’s a coincidence either, I think it’s a very deliberate strategy from DH given the reaction to his appointment. He’s certainly not daft.
  3. I thought he was fantastic, and did everything well. Instantly involved in the play, technically very good, physically very good, and I think he and Wells have the potential for a fantastic strike partnership. I’ve got a lot of love for Fam but I think Martin could be a better option with the style of football Holden is targeting.
  4. Don’t think there’s any conspiracy, I just don’t think there’s any way he can be accommodated in a 352.
  5. I thought he was decent. Much better commentary than the end of last season IMO. At times it seemed as though the audio was maybe just a fraction of a second ahead of the video, noticed a couple of times something like ‘out for a corner’ just a half second or so before the commentator would have been in a position to say that if it was 100% in sync with the video feed.
  6. Is it any wonder the vast majority of good posters over the years just drift away. This place is rank at times and this is when we’ve won FFS.
  7. Ok well we’ll see if his next job is below the championship. I’d be absolutely gobsmacked.
  8. We needed a change but the way some people talk you’d think his tenure was an utter abject failure.
  9. Strange comment. He took a team looking nailed on for relegation and had them consistently pushing for top six within a couple of years. He’ll have no trouble whatsoever getting offers in the championship.
  10. Flint was the first one that sprang to mind. Probably closely followed by Bobby Reid.
