We certainly sound to have lost some flow after the run of subs, but in fairness that is likely as much to be that they have brought on some strong players as much as ours.
Generally we just run out of steam and ideas

Anyone else thinking back to that 1989 game when Forest were Div 1 and City were Div 3? C'mon City you can do this!
Hope Dickie doesn’t do a Pender 4 minutes from time

My expectation is for the Doc to turn up in the DeLorean and then go back in time to just before the Cardiff game when I felt my club had an identity and was building something good with an experienced manager who stood to finally get his hands untied and have a bit of money to spend to move us on to the next level.
I’d start rounding up the troops (80+% of OTIB who were solidly behind what NP was trying to do), knowing that JL was about to lose the plot and fire the only top experienced manager we’ve had since we were actually in the top flight and would start a mass protest, banners, voting with feet, the lot.
Then we’d oust the muppets and snakes.
Anyway….back to reality….my expectations are that we’ll keep resetting and creating new pillars until I die.

I think the biggest problem with this club is the unnecessary micro-management by the board. Old big head would be turning in his grave.

Does anyone know where our identity has gone? I’m sure there was one beginning to form before Johnny boys revelation that we were in fact a top end Championship club in decline?

They missed the paragraph…..
”Jamie McAllister also played for Bristol City under Gary Johnson and was part of the 2008 Championship Play-Off Final team that came within 90 minutes of reaching the Premier League. Jamie is the latest addition in what is becoming a long line of ex 1982 ******* Ted ***** to join our faithful and prowed famous quarters”

In simple terms possession football works if you are creative, quick and decisive in the final 3rd (We’re not). If you don’t have those 3 qualities then you’re clueless in front of a brick wall because you have allowed the opposition plenty of time to be in position at the back and you just end up passing along the 18 yard box and retreating or you simply fail to find your man in an overcrowded area (which we do a lot)

We are playing much better football now (apparently), which constitutes 70-80 minutes retaining possession by knocking it backwards and sideways and 10 minutes over hitting passes, passing it from side to side around the 18 yard box, or letting Mehmeti or Bell cross like Under-9’s failing to hit even the first man.
Yeah, really exciting. This is the same mind numbing horse shit football that we were served up under Johnson.

But Jon said we got a top 6 squad
Challenging at the top end THIS season. Anything other than that is failure. T’was the reason for sacking Nige.

Top end this season. Jon said so.

And people were up in arms about a loan rather than spending millions on making it permanent. Injuries happen. Hope he recovers soon

Can’t score goals so get our striker to take a corner
He might as well take the corners as we know that our two wide men can’t get a ball past the first man and near post.

utterly meaningless attacking play. It's so boring.
But we’re controlling the game by failing to creat anything so it’s happy days on RobinsTV

RobinsTV waxing lyrical about how Coventry haven’t been able to do much because Bristol City had been controlling the game…2 mins later, direct attack, soft goal 1-0 down

Heard the £10 ticket offer hasn’t been taken up in large numbers so they are now offering a free ticket with every out of date bottle of Fanta purchased.
The bestest fans in the world are all away, boosting away attendances. They’re obsessed with away attendances. It’s what they do. Hahahahaaaaaaaa

They literally have to beg the most faithful and true supporters in the whole wide world to turn up.
They’re still ranting and raving on the kebab man pulling the plug on the Fruit Market.
In light of the fact that they can’t even get 75% capacity at the ‘Meccanocana’ shit hole it seems like pulling the plug on a 15,000+ capacity stadium was a shrewd move by Al Kebabdi and son.
There would have been more atmosphere in a ******* morgue than at the Fruitihad!
My sides are splitting. Renowned club too mind……A-hahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Renowned for being aggressive and completely ******* TINPOT!

I was. Schoolboy error.
They were the all outside, bald, side burns, flares, clubbing together 50,000 pence to buy Paul Randall back from Cheddar Walking Football.

That's not how football works.
Not when you're a ToteEnder. Most of them don't even realise it's not actually there anymore.
Stuck in the past. Like 1982. The past. We've moved on. They're still stuck, very jealous and very very bitter.

Well yes and it's pretty much what my post said, it doesn't matter who you support, c****s are c***s. I was pointing out however, that despite all the accusations thrown at Rovers regarding 1982, some of your own fans own behaviour was despicable. So possibly a bit of whatabouterry on my part
Bollocks do they. No one club is any better than another.
In fairness you're probably right, judging by the amount of empty seats and ticket price slashing by the club.
I got a bit carried away and was over-exaggerating the amount of supporters that Rovers have actually got these days
