  1. What is your favourite Bristol City chant past & present? Ps: This is not a chant suggestion thread
  2. Main reason being the insane income the government get through taxes
  3. Huge bonus, chance of top division football. Worst case scenario, we sell them to a championship club, and they get a significantly higher wage and signing on bonus than they would if we didn't go up. If I was footballer changing clubs I'd much rather be in the position to say I've achieved promotion to the prem, than not.
  4. A % cap may work, they can only get a max of 1% of the total transfer fee for example. Remove the power from the agents when it comes to arranging their own bonuses.
  5. Cliche but you smell of gas, your posting history is also only negative about City & positive about gas.
  6. Liverpool dominated in the 70/80s, and haven't won it for 30 years since. I hope the same happens to United.
  7. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/jan/21/solskjaer-liverpool-defeat-shows-manchester-united-on-right-track-gary-neville-criticism If you would've said a few years ago Man Utd were 30 points behind United I wouldn't have believed it, let alone content, let alone impressed with it.
  8. I haven't read the original post yet but I guarantee it is full of subjective views to fuel your opinion. Objectively, we were unlucky with Afobe's injury.
  9. I think the thing with Albert was he gave 100% in every game. The amount of times in the 90th minute he'd beat his man, run another 30 foot and just collapse through exhaustion, as he tried to cross the ball. If Elliason went as incredibly hard as Albert did then he'd be less accurate as well. Plus the fact that Albs had to carry 10 other players most of the time.
  10. So our head coach has taken a lot of flack recently, rightly or wrongly, but my question isn't about our head coach, it's about the other 2. Holden & Macca, they've seemed to avoid any blame entirely. What are your views? Are they equally to blame? Are they the problem? Is it nothing to do with them? Thoughts?
  11. I thought of them but I'm not so sure. Sawyers was one of their best players but looks only half as good in another team. I think their identity makes their players perform better than they would elsewhere.
  12. Yes. Leeds, West Brom & Fulham are the only teams I'd say are definitely better. The rest is arguable in my opinion.
