  1. I used to have the shot of the pitch completely covered by fans from when we went up in 2007 v Rotherham on my old laptop but can`t seem to find it anywhere now.
  2. I`ve just found out from the commentary on today`s stage that Paul Sherwen died last December from a heart attack aged only 62. I can`t believe that passed me by at the time. It was his and Phil Liggett`s reporting on the major tours that got me into watching cycling as he always had so much enthusiasm for the sport. RIP Paul.
  3. Danny Wilson might be an eye opener.
  4. They`ll have to prise my half time Clarks pie from my cold, dead hands.
  5. I love it that the bloke up the ladder with the binoculars has got a Leeds scarf on!
  6. Do the new rules re. sub players for in-match injuries and the like where you can bring in an `equivalent` player apply in The Ashes series though? If they do, England will surely want to keep a couple of decent subs around and Lewis being able to bowl and bat would probably be one of them.
  7. Most of them are fluent in Gangsta though to make up for it.
  8. Blackburn for me, they seem to be signing some quality. I can see PNE struggling a bit though unless they replace Robinson`s goals.
  9. See that`s where I thought he was being clever and just slinking across the constituency boundary to deflect suspicion - he`s a very cunning man you know.
  10. Bamba`s out till at least October. That might have something to do with it I suppose.
  11. Best I can come up with is it`s somewhere Wally can say he`s visiting when he goes to watch his first love at Stamford Bridge - probably means he can claim the petrol money there and back.
  12. I must admit, I was hoping it would turn out to be Jacob Rees Mogg.
  13. He has them peeled for him at their London office. it gives the staff something to do to occupy their time.
  14. I wonder how it compares to other entertainment like the cinema or concerts.
