It was a great night tbf what I can remember of it ! Mini bus full and the whole day was a fairytale. I’ve forgiven Osman for his dreadful football but he kept us up and at the time was quite an achievement. As for Jacki his little cameo for us will be fondly remembered and touched so many . We had a bit of star quality. I’ve always liked to watch a luxury player but they don’t last for long do they ? Amazing how he touched so many but didn’t rack up 50 games for us .

Pearson balanced the books and gave us stability . The football was pretty average but we had a way of playing and the players we had fitted the system . I think he was just a little maverick for the owners and called them out . I wasn’t surprised he got sacked . Manning wants to play a different way with players that don’t fit . I like Tommy . He’s young and facing his toughest season what with injuries, lack of form , best mate going and a new manager playing him up top on his own . This might toughen him up both mentally and physically. Lot of talent .

I hope we sign him as I see him as a natural replacement for James. Wasn’t too impressed early days but he’s got real quality.
