Another week where our front line looks inept Our forward options are weak. A striker that can score has to be the top priority

I don't see what age or number of sub appearances has to do with it. Or even position. I'm not saying they are bad players, I'm saying the goals are not there. It's fine if you want to delude yourself that the forward line is really good though.

I don't agree they are a really good set of forwards on paper. Mehmeti: 1 in 4 ratio last 12 months. Almost all in the league below Wells: 1 in 5 since he signed 4 years ago Bell: 3 in 24 last year Conway: Less than 1 in 3 last year. Weimann: 6 goals in the last 50 apps Cornick: 2 goals last year I'm not saying they are all bad players, but there is nothing much to suggest we were going to find goals easy to come by.

I'm going to buck the trend and say good. I've nothing against him but we were not going anywhere under him either . Those of you who want nothing more than perennial survival, i understand why you are upset. But frankly I would rather we took a gamble on someone new. If we go down, that's too bad.. but it's just a game. We'll come back. And if we get it right, we might just be able to push for something special

Wells should have been binned off years ago He's only scored more than 15 league goals in a Championship season once in his career and that was almost a decade ago

Don't be so naive. They are selling a product, of course they will talk it up Agreed. So why are people surprised then?
