  1. Some on here to young to remember this City v Arsenal August 1976 our first game in the old first division Cheesley scored the winner what a day. The sun was shining and city the old Highbury clock behind us city took the gunners down. What a great day that was. I went with my Dad and we still go together now.

    Cup Final

Oh for a fair playing field. Had VAR been aloud at Swansea Man City would not be at Wembley.
  3. Vyner now has championship experience having been on loan at Rotherham and playing quite a few games so would expect him to feature next season. Watkins has been injured so unfair to judge him. As for Moore he has played out a season at southend, but he would not be a first choice centre back anyway. So let’s just say jury out on young guns. Not a waste of money as all players not a chance to develop so let’s wait and see if LJ has got it right by signing these young hopefuls!
  4. Webster was not naive but a true professional by getting up and giving the referee a decision to make. Unlike The Derby players who made a meal of every challenge!!!
  5. The point is that samenyo has pushed the ball away from Huddleston before he arrives semenyo has gone to ground but if anything it is a foul by Huddleston. Ref has reacted to being swamped by Derby players baying for the Red card very in professional. Also Huddleston has made a meal of the challenge
  6. Huddleston has arrived late but should have been sent off earlier in the game for a similar tackle which ref saw to go unpunished. Huddleston is an experienced player who knows how to play a ref semenyo showed his inexperience but it was never a straight red. There were far worse tackles today so inconsistent officials is the main problem as well as player overreaction
  7. Having watched replay several times Huddleston arrived late and gone to ground yellow card at most. Ref in the manner of consistency should have sent Huddleston off in the first half for a similar tackle. Consistently of officials has been our downfall this season.
  8. Get in the ear all game from the bench, being asked to explain why referee has made that decision. Answer not a clue Scooby Doo. Is Kieth Stroud in charge of game against Wednesday. That combination would be rubbing salt 🧂
  9. Nothing as yet city have until 23rd April to respond. Wonder what the reaction will be? City inevitably will be fined & referee gets away Scot free for being told he is wrong
  10. City have been charged for failing to control their players following the outrageous penalty awarded by the referee. It is a shame that the clubs and mangers have no real way of complaining about a referees performance without being charged!! Shocking
  11. Yes but that was when he was given more game time and not warming the bench and being a so say super sub.
  12. The reason we don’t get many is because our players tend to stay up longer not going down at the slightest sneeze . Also I believe that we have no driving experts currently in our ranks. Unlike some teams I could mention !!! Who knows Fam May get lucky on Friday
  13. If anything the penalty should have been a free kick to city for backing in by villa player as well as handball. The ref has made a poor decision here which has been story of our season inconsistent officiating So we move on to Friday hopefully a win but the officials can giveth or take away always believe we have The Max in goal COYR
  14. If it’s Villa a goal city disallowed for off side. We do not have parachute payments. Officials tend to lean towards the ex premier league sides / so called big clubs
