  1. VAR can be of benefit to football by exposing cheats ie diving, handball etcBut it has to be available to all unlike this years FA cup which has only benefited premiership teams two who remain in the competition would be out if there had been a level playing field. We can’t have one rule for one and one for another. The governing bodies have to consistent but we all now that will only happen in our dreams
  2. Not harsh on O’Leary with Frankie out for season Nikki injured we need more cover than an untried jo jo Walcott a back up for max
  3. Palmer would be an asset at 4 million. With the Chelsea transfer situation at present it would interesting to see if we could sign all 3 Chelsea loanees at reasonable prices as all bring something to the current team. I would sign Kallas before Palmer given the choice. Only time will tell so we can only watch this space fir more speculation & rumours!!!
  4. Played much better in second half. Yes we should have had a penalty. However the ref and linesman also missed the handball before they scored. So official bad day at the office. A good performance we can be proud
  5. I travel regularly from Hertfordshire near St Albans also hold a season ticket .
  6. Should be a good tough game hopefully a win always believe COYR
  7. It’s a difficult one this both very good. However as the LJ management team keeps telling us it is a squad thing back up in every position. Finally we have two goalkeepers who could walk in to any championship team as number one
  8. Wiseman always puts in a shift works hard off the ball and gives us options. So pleased he scored yesterday. He is an asset to the team. Very underated by many on this site.
  9. Both are beatable so don’t care. But would prefer the shrews
  10. Great performance today see’s the first win away from home on news years day for Bristol city since winning 1-0 away to Blackpool in 1903. shock the wait is over. Are we on the way now !

  12. Watched my first game way back in 1972 from here standing on old radio box base. Gordan Parr testimonial match against Chelsea which included osgood, Harris, Hudson, Garland and co. Great memories
  13. Let’s hope the ref is a good luck charm! As refs haven’t been kind to us against Brentford at home in recent years Freeman sent off for supposedly high boot ? Andre gray off side goal lets hope we continue with our good form COYR
  14. We seem to have a problem with shooting! Not scored in last 4 games so without improving that statistic no chance of a win at Ipswich. We need put bodies in and around the box come LJ sort this part out at least. Let’s start shooting on the slightest sight of goal . We need to be more direct
