  1. Just for once the Referee took note of the amount of time wasting by Huddersfield players throwing themselves to the floor for no reason last minute substitutions delays in taking goal kicks etc. Finally a referee that I would happily like to see at the gate again fair and took no messing She was definitely in charge!
  2. Again we find our questioning the standard of officials this season and above all their consistency!! if Vyner or Dickie had grabbed Vardy shorts 100% Kitchen points to the spot ! As for the Dickie shout I refer back to an incident when Pring made little or no contact and the Ref points to the spot. Let’s face it consistency is a real problem
  3. Max is sound he gives more confidence than Bentley ever did at least you can hear him call and he dies come for crosses more than some we have had between the sticks in the past. Max is having a really good season, he one of the top shot stoppers in the championship at the moment
  4. Maybe an embarrassing goal to concede! yes we are 2-0 down but it’s the free kick stats that get me we are 7-1 down on that one have we really been that dirty! As it stands at this moment over 3 games the officials have given 36 free kicks against us compared to only 11 for seems very odd to me ! We need to start learning the dark arts
  5. As long as it’s not a pint glass with something stuck it !!
  6. Today was an awful game a total lack of ideas going forward. However it is not helped when over the last two games we seem to have become a dirty side referees have given 29 free kicks for fouls against us compared to 10 for us ! I find this unbelievable to be honest. A vital win today not sure how much longer Manning has got but on today’s performance not long
  7. I seem to remember Cotts saying something similar “ when they cross that white line they are in control not me !” A game plan can be explained but it’s up the team on the field to execute it
  8. We need to learn the dark arts. Played well this evening but are far too honest. The free kick given against Vyner is 50/50 both players pulling each other yet Ref decides Zak is in the wrong! El Hamadi is not only holding but backing in then throws himself to floor so should have been our free kick if anything. It appears that the team that dives throws themselves to the floor at the slightest contact gets the referees vote ! Lots of positives from tonight’s game however think we are now in a relegation fight
  9. There were some very odd decisions, still bewildered by Zak’s yellow for a perfectly good tackle! Yet Walker-Peter’s got away with equally if not worst tackles on Bell and Mehmeti. Also he waved play on for a so called advantage less than a minute at most but failed to bring back for a foul he had acknowledged. Allowing Southampton to go on the counter. Overall there were some very odd decisions. Yet we won so it didn’t matter in the end. However this seems to be par for course when referees turn up at Ashton Gate inconsistency takes centre stage
  10. He looks a real prospect quick turn of speed and looked a threat going forward
  11. The fundamental problem is the standard of refereeing has dropped to an all time low. The introduction of VAR has only made things worse. The assistant referee’s ( formerly known as Linesmen) seem to be unable to make decisions or are just blind. The PGMOL needs to take responsibility and become clear and open when officials are questioned. If a manager speaks out regarding officiating standards they should be allowed freedom to express an opinion without fear of fines etc. The number of camera angles shouldn’t matter the linesman would have had a reasonable view yet didn’t feel able to make a decision!
  12. It looks clear cut to me by the number of city players pointing to their hands ! just VAR being a waste of space and total shambles
  13. I can see your point but VAR has been a complete shambles all season. Loads of clear and obvious errors have not been awarded by the three blind mice in the VAR box. The football managers are afraid to say anything for the risk of being charged and fined, yet the incompetence of officials appears to be unpunished . Pearson once commented I could plaster my walls with their excuses
