  1. Bet the village green preservation society are pleased with their achievements
  2. Always think it’s ironic that these highly paid footballers don’t use a cab, so much money yet not willing to spend it sensibly.
  3. Would of thought this would be the last thing people are concerned about, be good to get the current season finished at some point before worrying about the next.
  4. Maybe they could adopt for night games at Ashton Gate?
  5. Not sure why anyone thinks McGregor,s article states anything anyone who reads the forum wouldn’t know already.Every stat could have been provided by Davefevs and everything written could have been copy and pasted from here over the last couple of months/ seasons. Comes back to the Bristol Posts favourite line “everything we know” , which as we all know is absolutely sod all unless it’s been nicked from elsewhere online.
  6. Why would you consider waffle to be “coaching terminology “, just trying to be too clever for his own good and that’s why people pick up on it. Maybe with some straight talking coaching the squad would have an idea of what’s required to put in some kind of cohesive performance.
  7. Exactly this, why do the council not suspend the works on Coronation Road just to ease the congestion in South Bristol. The planning for cycle lanes is a joke in the city, take Baldwin St for instance, take away all the loading bays and Taxi ranks for a cycle path that most choose not to ride in ,then have Tesco lorry’s parked on the main highway blocking the traffic both ways every morning .
  8. All well and good Major but the current set up seem to lack the belief to win championship matches.
  9. Needs confirmation on the main site.........
  10. Shrewsbury growing in confidence since the ref gifted them a Penalty, could this be the weekend’s upset?
  11. Good to see some premier players covered in shite
  12. Must be 10-0 to the BBC just on mentions of how Shrewsbury beat us to be playing Liverpool!
  13. You’ve been talking to Lee again?
  14. No one will notice .............
  15. Always enjoyed my halftime Yorkie! As mentioned above nicknamed the chocolate path due to the shape of the paviers, nothing to due with the colour. Would also be known by some as the Tow path ( not toe as above), imagine there’s been a few stubbed on route nevertheless.
  16. Can’t bring myself to even attempt the minefield that is the Bristol Post webpage, always makes me laugh when they quote “ everything we know” which is bugger all unless it’s been posted elsewhere previously. As mentioned above this is typical BCC the chocolate path has been closed since the Metro bus works, why has it taken them this long to start work on a major commuter route in and out of the city when they knew full well there where problems? We suffered nearly 3 years of roadworks at Temple Meads all to what end? The light sequences are all wrong causing congestion that it was supposed to solve, the money could of been put to much better use repairing Cumberland Road and the Cumberland Basin system but that wouldn’t suit Marvin who wants to demolish the whole system and build some new houses that most Bristolians won’t be able to afford .
  17. Again as the chaps above have pointed out it just goes to show how poorly researched this so called journalism is ,could have been written by the post or 95% of Otib
  18. Listening to a post match interview would be enough for most “supporters “.
  19. This from Holden on the main site We are at our best when we do come out on the front foot and we’re aggressive in every part of our play, with and without the ball,” he said. “Barnsley are a decent team and they’ve had a good recent run of results but we’re at home at Ashton Gate, this is our stadium and we want to make sure no teams come here and enjoy the experience.” So why do we always seem to start on the defensive at the gate, saying all the right things but in reality it’s not happening very often.
  20. Got some rather large boxes of half and half scarfs for sale if anyone’s interested
  21. He obviously doesn’t fancy keeping Liverpool’s front three in check if they win tonight, bizarre mindset for a centre back more like a powder puff striker
  22. You wouldn’t want Baker next to you in the trenches
  23. Good job we’re playing away, the Dolman would be leaving!
