  1. I don't completely agree with it but at least with the Scotland one, the keeper actually saved the penalty. The one France had retaken the other night was even worse. The penalty taker put it wide and they pulled it back to be retaken as the keeper was a little off the line when she jumped (a few inches). Not a chance would that have made any significant impact on the penalty taker - it was just a terrible penalty.
  2. I've only had to drive and park for a gig there on one occasion but I believe it was a Sunday. I parked in the Capitol Centre car park and it was £2 for the whole day. I imagine this was just a Sunday or weekend rate though. Worked out quite well as it was about a 10/15 minute walk from the stadium and just far enough to get away from Cardiff without sitting in any traffic. Loads of others seemed to park in the St. Davids Shopping Centre car park which not only was far more expensive, but looked an absolute nightmare to pay/get out of given the number of people using it. There was barely anyone in our car park.
  3. Wouldn't wannabe on the pitch this evening
  4. I've followed England around through various tournaments, friendlies, qualifiers etc and if you've done the same, you'll see the good things some of the fans do - you'll never hear about it otherwise. Funny you ask those two examples, we helped the homeless in Brazil to a certain degree 5 years ago and put funding towards a project to replant trees in the Amazon following a visit to one of the local environmental museums in Manaus.
  5. Photos look great. Gutted I had to miss this but I was back home from football at around 8:45. I live just up by South Liberty Lane and luckily, my living room overlooks the gate so I opened the windows, put my feet up and enjoyed the music from afar. Certainly cranked it up an extra few notches for Knights of Cydonia - sounded incredible, as did the crowd!
  6. From the first game which for me was a 4-0 win over Notts County in 96. Goater hat-trick.
  7. They can't even get that right. It was the 24th May...
  8. Quite funny this. A number of us who went to school with Judd played snooker at Keynsham regularly also and the bet was pretty well known there. Some of us put the same bet on (just a quid or two stake though) when we were old enough (well not quite but parents put them on when were were 14/15). Based on his confidence in himself right from the start of school years, we thought it would have come in a few years before now but I'm not complaining considering he's 30 in August!
  9. 'From Halifax away, to Barnsley at home, it has been a truly memorable time' What a story
  10. Ever since that first round scare, he turned it up to a whole other level. Incredible snooker. Made up for him!
  11. Unreal snooker from Judd tonight. Hope he comes out with the same swagger tomorrow. 12-5.
  12. Decent start. 3-1 Judd at the interval. Both wrapped up the last two frames in one sitting.
  13. He'll take that 4 frame lead after playing like that. Judd didn't look too impressed with Wilson carrying on again. Must be frustrating, especially in the last frame of the session!
  14. Great start to the morning for Judd. Wilson misses a straightforward red to allow Judd to get back at the table. Wilson gets a couple of other opportunities in the frame but his potting was way off. Frame finished after Wilson needed snookers, missed a yellow then showed a bit of frustration knocking the green with his cue as he walked off to concede the frame. Judd's at the table with a decent break chance in the next too. Another miss from Wilson on a black, may have got a bad connection. He's looking frustrated and it's reflecting in his shots. Judd needs to keep him frustrated here and it could be done sooner than expected. 11-7.
