  1. This is completely unacceptable for me. Good luck to you that think otherwise. Been there and done that with a . I'm not supporting the second version.
  2. I'm seeing people getting excited by this. This worries me. What does this new coach bring that Pearson doesn't? Not much I'm guessing. What needs to happen is this. Judge this new coach on Lansdown and Tinnion. We sacked our manager because he wasn't good enough supposedly. We sacked him for out chance at top six according to Jon. So the remit is top 6. Judge him on that. Tinnion has told us how our new coach will play our team. Attacking and pressing. So Judge this on tinnion. Seriously. Anything going forward till the end of the season should absolutely 100% be judged on these two morons. That have decided how we should play and what is good enough above any coach that comes in. Please don't forget this in your excitement. You have two snakes leading the line deciding on first team policy.
  3. It's a disgrace. Bringing Tinnion in from the back door. What respectable coach would work under these restrictive ludicrous conditions? A pure embarrassment. They are treating the club and its fans with utter contempt. I cant support this.
  4. Our owners really are ******* idiots ain't they? They have destroyed the best chance at progression we had. Fuming.
  5. It just makes the whole thing more sad. We had a manager that was happy to deal with the financial constraints, and actively bringing young players through from the academy, with some great recent success. This should be music to most owners ears surely. This has to be a power play by Tinnion, and a grab for more first team control by the Lansdowns. I can't fathom any other reason for it.
  6. Until it leads us into another mess all of Lansdowns making, and the cycle continues.
  7. For the last question. I actually answered promotion as that's clearly the remit set by Lansdown. Weren't sure if you meant what did I think before he said this or after.
  8. Yep. Remarkable isn't it. Gotta say I'm almost impressed with the sheer audacity of it all. I'm not sure if they are that unbelievably stupid, or thay unbelievably arrogant. I'm actually gobsmacked. That we are back at the beginning. Again.
  9. Or appoint him as ambassador to the club and keep him there.
  10. Spot on. And it will fail. It has failed every single time they've tried it. Because the ones dictating what we want to the head coach are completely incompetent.
  11. This has convinced me Tinnion is part of the problem. I want them all out. This club needs a desperate clear out from those in any type of control. That's where it is rotten.
  12. The 5 pillars? They are desperate for a head coach to retain control of the playing side. They now think they've cracked it with Tinnion. Tinnion being de facto manager and one they can influence.
  13. That's just an excuse. One they've been waiting to implement for a while no doubt. It's becoming clear they want to revert to a head coach, and one that answers to Brian Tinnion ffs. You couldn't make this up. I cannot believe how utterly clueless the Lansdowns are. Its staggering how they don't learn.
  14. This sounds harsh but does he? I don't know the guy, but think back at the way he initially got the managers job. This whole situation has me feeling more and more uncomfortable the more I hear about it.
  15. That's fine but they weren't really improving our squad, just replacing players that left. We needed that and to enhance our squad.
  16. This is sounding more and more like it will be Curtis Fleming, or some unknown coach, that will come in as head coach, to be told what to do by Tinnion.
  17. Yeah but this was after the season we got to the playoff final. And didn't he spend a good chunk of money? We brought in Michael Bridges and Marcus Stewart, they wouldn't of been on a small wage.
  18. Same. Because we've been here before. It's a cycle. And when the next "head coach" fails, because he will. We will go back to a more experienced manager to sort the mess out, and sack him at the first opportunity to go back to this yes man head coach nonsense so son and daddy can have control. It's nonsense and will never work. We are going nowhere until they sell up.
  19. Shocked at the way he defended our recruitment and how our squad is good enough. It's such blatent horseshit and to think we'd feed into it is astonishing. And the use of the word head coach. Ugh this is just a ******* vicious cycle were going through isn't it.
  20. Ultimately its Steve making all the decisions also. It's Steve that should be doing this, and explaining HIS decision. He should also be going on the local radio too.
  21. 100% this. The Lansdowns have set the bar now. Top 6 minimum this season. That's the expectation we should all have.
  22. I've got a very unnerving feeling they've sacked him now to give CF the two easiest games possible in the hope he wins them and they can appoint from within again.
  23. Yep, and surely if he doesn't have us shooting up the table, come the end of the season surely his job should be under threat to no? After all, Jon said our squad is good enough. He sacked our last one despite the joke injury situation.
  24. It absolutely should be Steve fronting up the coward. He's the one making the decisions ultimately. He's the one that cant handle a manager with his own opinion.
