Nottingham Forest away fourth round FA Cup replay match thread

Can't wait to pick the Green Un later. -
Are there any other clubs who, on finishing top of the division and getting promoted, have lower attendances in the division above ? Presumably because they weren't winning as often. 1990 Champions of division 3 - 6,202 1991 Division 2 - 5,929 1992 Division 2 - 5,850 1993 Division 2 Relegated - 5,745 Tin pot bunch of cretins. https://european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/league/brir.htm

I watched a large part of the second half and I can confidently say that the reason they lost was because they were shite. I know that may be a little difficult for the poor cretins to take in, but thats the sole factor for their loss.

Been there before. Nottingham County are much more welcoming than Notts Forest. -

I've walked past that hundreds of times as well, never realised it was a tribute to Atyeo. I'll stop and have a proper look next time I'm passing.

One was sold at auction a few years ago for 13k. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/rare-bristol-city-blue-shirt-62656 I think one of the Utd shirts was sold previous to that for £8.4k.

Its why he's called Nomad.

Its really simple. That tiny closed forum of theirs and their tin pot little club is full of envious, small minded, cretins. That explains everything about them.

BT mentioned the younger group the other night but Yeboah, Morrison and Meerholtz are still 17 and look to have a very good future tbf. Araoye is 19 now and has his pathway blocked at CB or LB, and needs a loan higher up the pyramid than WSM - or a brilliant pre-season.
-
No. Its likely that both will be released. I think BT was referring to the u15/u16s ? He referenced that again the other night.

Which is what I meant- it isn't a fait accompli where he gets what he is given or that he says yes or no after being presented with a player suggestion, he will go obviously go through the requirements for a player with the analysts, let them create a list, then go through the final part of the process going through the data/clips he's received and making a decision. Where we probably differ is that I think that it will be LMs final decision (as he's said previously), not a decision by committee. I would think that wouldn't preclude him bypassing all that and requesting a player that he trusts to do the job required, such as Twine. Which would very much be "his" signing.

Endorsed by Manning recently where he said that is the only part he becomes involved in.

U18s on Wednesday against Burnley in the youth cup, if they win they play Swindon in the quarter final. I think that will take priority over the U21s cup game (they probably won't progress out of their group anyway), so I can't see there being too many younger players for the U21s. https://www.flashscore.co.uk/standings/UyzV2S4t/WSPObY8t/#/WSPObY8t/table/overall The injured players will take no part in the Forest game imo, if the Sunderland game was at home it would have been ideal for the returning injured first teamers.

Game tomorrow night at Sunderland (Premier League Cup) Normally a chance to get returning first teamers a game, but we don't normally have returning injured first teamers in away games, especially as far as Sunderland. Worth keeping an eye on though.

Completely Arbitrary Transfer Window Ranking

I agree. Short term its a 5/10 with Weimann out and Twine in. Longer term, some good acquisitions which will hopefully pay off 7/10. -

Who takes Prings place for Notts Forest ?
-
7 points off play offs and 10 points off relegation. Which form league ? Last 8 has us in 14th with 7th best defence, but 11th best goals scored.
