  5. A month ago I put 100 bucks down at +3000, so basically 30/1to finish in the top 6, also put down 100 bucks on us to win the FA Cup at +45000, I just want us to avenge our 1909 defeat against Man U
  6. My first ever City game,10 years old my big brother Steve who sadly passed recently bought me a ticket, met him at Castle Park, had my first can of beer, Youngers Tartan, I was just to the left of the East End goal as you look from pitchside, bitter disappointment but the buzz stayed with me and started attending regularly home and away the following season, including train travel, all paid for by my brother, miss him and miss those exciting days
  7. I make my own baguettes every weekend that I'm home, simple recipe 1000g if bread flour, 10g fast rising yeast, 15g salt, 600ml warm water, mix together, knead by hand for 8- 10 minutes, cover and let rise for 1 1/2 hours, knock down, shape into baguettes, cover and let rise for further 45 minutes, bake for 30 minutes at 385f, throw some ice cubes in the bottom of the oven when you put the bread in, gives it a good rise and crispy crust

  14. I was having a chat with them on Messenger earlier, they would love to have a video of their song being played at Ashton Gate to put on their website, they are seriously humbled and proud that it was played before the Swansea game, hopefully it will happen on Tuesday and somebody manages to record it for them, Cheers me Babs
  15. Yep, I know, and it's roughly halfway between Vancouver where the Dreadnoughts come from and Our Bristol, watch the video, it's Our Bristol they sing about, along with the reverence of Cider, they also appeared at Ciderfest last Summer, they love our West Country
  16. If this song gets played again, it would be great if someone could record it and send it to The Dreadnoughts, they said they felt honoured that it had been played at Ashton Gate and would love to see it

  19. We had a league going at school where we would go to eachothers houses to play, my Dad glued my pitch onto a sheet of plywood which made altered the nap of the pitch and made the ball run faster, a bit like early astroturf , unfortunately the plywood also warped from corner to corner so the pitched sloped too, giving me and my brother an advantage over the visitors as we knew how to play on the sloping pitch , a bit like the old Yeovil ground!
  20. Agree 100%, the only TC I know belonged to us
