  1. To be fair to him he done well with sheff u in the prem and was very unlucky to be relegated and actually did ok with Cardiff last year with a squad with no prem quality in it
  2. I'm grizz's cousin, I am sure his oldman would love some sort of tribute and to know his son is still very much in people's minds. Grizz, my oldman, our mate (Doogue) and myself always used to go down to city together and we know how hard he was pushing for the Robin to be brought back.
  3. I personally think it's a no brainer then...stick him in goal and scrap out 1_0s all season. In all seriousness though if we can get another striker who makes intelligent runs and knows where the back of the net is I would play wiemann up top with new striker. If we dont then I would stick with fam up top and Wiemann outwide/benched.
  4. Glad your wife has come through her battle, that's is great news. Thank you so much. Haha I certainly wouldn't be paying £10 for a pint. When I started this thread I was hoping that maybe 10 people would sponsor me £3 or £4 each but wasn't sure if it would work or not but the support I have had from fellow fans (who I dont know) has been unreal. I really am thankful to every single person who has sponsored me but you guys and girls on her have been unreal
  5. To be honest it has given me the buzz to do even more. 2 days on and my knee is still in pieces (it went at mile 24 so I was a hobbling mess for the rest) but despite that all i can think it a little pain for myself will help others who have to go weeks/months/years of chemo and dealing with this crap and even losing there lives. Into to plan my next venture now
  6. Just wanted to update you all, me and my wife started at 7 30am today and finished just after 6pm. That was by far the hardest thing either of us have ever done and now feel like ours bodies are in pieces but we know it will only last a few days not like the people who have to suffer with cancer . We raised a total of just over £1000 between us and wanted to thank everyone who has helped us to achieve this
  7. Cheers to the other lads on here who have sponsored me as well today, I am completely shocked by the amount of support I have had from the city lads. I know the subject is very close to many people and reading the comments it has obviously affected many on here
  8. Cheers mate, thanks a lot for the sponsor as well
  9. Cheers all, as I keep saying I really appreciate all the comments and donations. Hopefully one day we will beat this
  10. Cheers, really appreciate it
  11. With the marathon just over a week away I thought I would give this a little boost. Me and my wife have been training hard for this but are still crapping ourselves, hopefully it stays dry on the day but not to hot.
  12. I would turn it down as well. I'm quarter German through one of my grandparents but I have never met that part of my family and consider myself to be 100% English. I would have no interest in every playing for any other nation.
  13. Millwall away under Gary Johnson always sticks in my mind, most of the day it was quite flat but coming back through paddington after the game was great
  14. Think this is a load of rubbish, it's not like our youth are running riot. Man u had one of the brightest prospects in the country in ravell Morrison and couldn't get him to settle down, I wouldn't then say United have an issue. In life you get good and bad and sometimes clubs will not be able to control how a player goes
  15. What does pulis have to do with the play offs?
