  1. Square peg, square hole. I think as time went on, LJ lost the plot a bit and probably fell out with players along the way. Became stubborn and things started to go tits up. Holden has gone back to basics and to be fair, has decent players to use at his disposal.
  2. It's always a "guaranteed chance" unless mathematically impossible
  3. Wouldn't be a step forward, so obvious no to all. It's got to be Hughton or Jokanovic. If not, someone better.
  4. There hasn't been such good candidates expressing an interest in managing the club for at least 20 years. Lansdown made it explicitly clear what he wants asap. It won't be a lower league manager. Hughton or someone better. I would say Jokanovic would be excellent. But there may even be someone of a better calibre. No to Gerrard, too much risk at this point imo. Lansdown knows the next manager will signal his intent.
  5. It cured my impotence.
  6. Best player: Joe (can't play LB) Bryan - so many doubters proven wrong Best moment: Beating Man U Worst player: Dionky Worst moment: What I'd say was a pivotal loss against Wolves 30th Dec 2017
  7. Mick McCarthy or Chris Coleman
  8. I think he will manage in Germany, maybe even as his next job.
  9. Probably for the first time I'm thinking I'd rather have not renewed.
  10. 7 season cards paid in full and no sign of a refund yet Am wandering if they've been that bothered to process them. EasyJet were quicker to process my refund once requested!
  11. We had a choice of Watkins or Eliasson? That a fact?
  12. I wonder if the Championship will be affected much by players being released. Some clubs may struggle even at this level to complete a match squad as the season closes.
  13. Sorry to hear. Puts a lot of things in perspective. All the best to you and your family
  14. There's a problem. The club and 21st century are yet to be aquatinted.
  15. Was confirmed on the website that the away kit is purple and lime. "Matchday warm-up tees come in red, green and black, while the anthem jackets are red, and purple and lime, showing a return to the popular away strip of the early 1990s and which was voted the best kit in the English Football League for the 2017/2018 campaign." Maybe a black third kit? Probs a bit meh if so.
  16. Can relate. I was finger banging my belly button as I worked my way through the tweets.
  17. Lansdown Central refund. Beer money and Sky will show a couple games. I have the flexibility to buy a stream if I feel like it and if they make the playoffs, it'll be on Sky anyhow. As far as I'm concerned, Steve Lansdown wipes his arse with more than the £130+ refund that I'll receive. All of my friends/family that I sit with have gone for the refund.
  18. If you've not got the email regarding season card options, here's the link: https://response.questback.com/isa/qbv.dll/ShowQuest?QuestID=5476301&sid=U0Gl5dGOWh Refunds done by following the details on the article from the club.
  19. Will probably sell to Pboro with a good sell on clause. They'll turn him into a £10M player and leave the following season
  20. Reminds me of Getafe. Google "Getafe Burger King".
  21. A refund should be due. If easyJet offer refunds, then the club will! Non-refundable hotel bookings are being refunded under the same reason of obligation not met for payment. If I've paid £260 odd more for my seat in Lansdown Central compared to South Stand, free to air matches mean **** all in relation to refunds. It's more good will for those who still want to watch the games.
  22. No mention of a refund yet... But DD's held and obligation to attend matches cannot be fulfilled. It's ok if they want to allow online streaming, but this isn't what people paid for. Plus difference between the more expensive or cheaper prices people have paid. Will have to wait until the season has ended I expect.
  23. This This. Phonominal. This again. Incredible. Zaha was such a special player. He was like Real Madrid ready. Also Kyle Walker when on loan at QPR from Spurs 2010/11. How could a right back run the show, he was everywhere. Gareth Bale when he was 15/16 against us in a friendly. The kid (at the time) looked like he was on another planet; went off injured and saw his face as he walked down the Atyeo and thought **** ME THIS KID HAS BEEN DOING US PROPER!
  24. Money talks. The Health/Economic scales have swayed.
  25. I can't see how they'd allow attendance to matches until there's a vaccine. Unfortunately (?) they'll have to have risk assessments in place which will block attendance until the risk is minimalised to a low enough level. Immunity after having covid-19 hasn't been proven, which would also open the turnstiles.
