I was thinking about this the other day. Do you think there is a clause in the contract that if City were to be relegated and Derby promoted the transfer could be cancelled.
-
I’m 63 years old and have never bought a football shirt, I might buy this one though, like it.

As we live on the East side of Bristol we can still drive there but the bus gate is on our way home so if we drive we have to turn right down Cumberland Road and come back on ourselves through town or up Coronation Road. Although parking by The Orchard meant a bit of a walk to the ground and back, it was a quick getaway on that side of the river back towards home.

Feel sorry for The Orchard pub. With the bridge being closed and now this bus gate fiasco it must be harming trade for them.
-
When it first opened me and the lads I go with went in there every game, we haven’t been in there for a few years now. Prefer to drink in The Orchard, can get a seat most times and drink reasonably priced beer/cider and get a Clark’s pie on the way.

Wouldn’t want to be up on the roof in this weather.

One reason is that their head of recruitment is a young lad that is an ex Rovers employee & massive fan

Your First Pair of "Proper" Football Boots

I gave up watching City “full time” in 1977 when I was 17 and started playing men’s football. i can’t remember what boots I wore as a kid but my first pair of real boot was the Patrick Chile which I bought from a sports shop in Redfield, they were slightly too big so I had to wear 2 pairs of socks. I eventually graduated to the Adidas World Cup boot (with the big tongue) what a thing of beauty they were. I can’t imagine many more pleasurable moments than going to a sports shop and selecting your new boots back in the day. -

You could get a Wembley Trophy football for 1 book of green shield stamps, cue everyone under 50 saying WTF is green shield stamps -
The next season we played Arsenal at home in October and lost 2-0, goals by Rix and McDonald. I was gutted leaving the ground until I learnt that Spurs had smashed Rovers 9-0

Perhaps the manager/head coach is sending a message to the younger players that he thinks they haven’t impressed enough to warrant a place on the bench.

I was at this game, crowd of 10000 plus from (my very bad) memory

My son was in the academy for 10 years, Ali Hines is a top, top bloke who was honest & truthful and I couldn’t say a bad word about him, Tinnion not so much, like many have said previously an absolute snake.

Just seen it on Hanham High Street, you are correct it is silver.
-
See it quite often in Hanham/St George, thought it was black though.

Sheffield Wednesday could be heading to Ashton looking for their first win of the season, we all know how kind City are to sides that need to break a winless run.

Or they can watch any game they want on a fire stick. Am I the only person that hasn’t got one? -
This game was re-refereed by Michael Oliver (not sure when) he said he would have dished out 11 red cards. it reminded me of playing local football in the 70’s & 80’s

This was a topic on talk sport yesterday which I only listened to “in & out” At least one Fulham fan rang in to support the prices as historically there is a large Man Utd presence in home areas for this fixture and he was happy for them to be “taxed” for this game. I understand his frustration but it doesn’t encourage Fulham fans who buy on a match by match basis.
-
Can’t agree with you there, he has the whole goal to aim at and a decent striker scores that all day long, 100% bad miss
-
I’m not a Cornick hater but it’s a bad miss, can’t believe the support for the keeper.
