Both of these things are true. There would have been some sort of end of season statement at some point, but a little form helps the timing no end! The last JL statement was self damning and I suspect lessons have been learned. But anyone sensible still takes your point. However the last one was so awful the damnation was earned. This one was much better! SL appears to have effectively handed the running of the club to Jon. I don’t expect anything from Steve until such a time as we get promoted or sold!

A part exchange hadn’t even crossed my mind. However who knows. It’s more than possible no matter which division Burnley end up in. The players we know are being looked at are Conway and Pring. Add to this a few players that no one would be surprised if there are enquires for such as Knight, Bell, Vyner even Dickie (who has had a brilliant season) then a deal for Twine is possible. My thoughts are there are going to be incomings (some we already know) and outgoings to allow players to come through and create the money for the forward (probably two forwards if Conway goes) that Tinnion spoke about today. If i remember rightly he spoke about a “ten” which most would assume Twine is top of the list! My crystal ball tells me someone from Oxford is on the Radar too! The play offs will indeed have a baring there.

As Pearson said in his interview this week, ‘Liam has taken over a very good position’ He has. And he’s been promised some spends. I’m excited to see what happens in the summer. If Manning really wants Twine then I can see a scenario where offers are accepted for two even three of ours.

That will obviously depend on their position. I guess we will see However he had a very good game today in a number of ways The fact he was trying to get on of the end of things at the back post was very positive. With Bell out we missed that!!

I hope that was not what was meant, however I won’t renew mine until I see commitment to support THEIR guy in all areas where necessary! Personally I think we have players who are coming through who are earning a chance plus Benarous Atkinson etc, so I don’t necessarily mean purchases. But if we sell Conway/Knight/Pring etc I expect to have an idea how that is to be reinvested. The CFO of BS stated on FBC words to the effect that there never was a ‘nest egg’ and much of the money was already spent. Thus I’m not sure where the nest egg comment came from but that particular bloke needs to STFU! For my tuppence I’ll buy mine in July if I see that commitment. If they won’t sell me one then, if I deem it worthy they shalt GO **** Themselves !

I am so confused! How many season tickets have actually been sold to supporters? How is withholding seats in the South Stand advantageous to the football club? Am I off base here, but are the club threatening/implying they will limit sales of season tickets at a relatively low level? All help appreciated!

The implication is clear! Allardyce didn’t go into confidentiality clauses are two way, just for fun. They are bound to have spoken about it. Thats the truth!! Unfortunately the lads seemed to give the guy a metaphorical get out of jail free card in one section, answering their own stuff. However it was the best opportunity we’ve had to listen to the bloke speak and I am extremely grateful for the effort that takes! I’m not sure the radio Brizz journos would have been better or even got that amount of time. So nice job!
