  1. Must be a hive of activity in the dressing room.
  2. They were installed after the racist chanting against Everton - they are for monitoring, not enhancement.
  3. Wasn't Jimmy Hill the actual instigator though, getting the final score of the other crucial relegation game announced on the tannoy before your game had finished?
  4. Soho Farmhouse just down the road - he can hook up with Dave and Vicky.
  5. I used to sing the Rory Gaffney version of this song - apologies to any Gingers that I may have inadvertently offended.
  6. The homophobic chanting was investigated after being reported, and found to have happened, hence the fine and instructing the club to draw up an action plan. I believe that the cctv showed that it was a group of younger fans who were responsible (no idea if the images were clear enough for them to be prosecuted), whereas with Spurs, they haven't yet found any hard evidence - hence the ongoing investigation.
  7. The flare was thrown by a Bromley "fan", when they thought they'd scored - presumably a glory hunter who didn't know that they played on a plastic pitch.
  8. Not looking for any excuses, just putting forward some possible reasons, the family thing being just one of them. He's certainly spent a lot of time away from home, so maybe that's a red herring from him, the other reasons I gave are facts - and maybe he feels Mansfield will provide him with more opportunities - a new job isn't necessarily about where you start, but where you think you will end up.
  9. His first opportunity to be a Manager, no brainer really as, if he'd turned it down, a Manager coming in from elsewhere would probably have wanted to bring his own backroom staff, and he'd have been out of a job.
  10. Can't blame him - his family live in Sheffield, so it would be much closer to home. Mansfield have a decent ground, training ground and some money for players - we don't tick any of those boxes. No room for sentiment in football, if it's a good deal for him then he has to take the opportunity.
  11. I can't remember the lights being on in the stands at the Take That concert, so it can't be a health & safety thing.
  12. Chris used to accompany his Dad to watch Rovers when he was younger, and I believe that his Dad sometimes uses the season ticket at AG, which must be some sort of payback for making him suffer as a kid.
  13. His dad's a Gashead - his son must be such a disappointment to him!
  14. Chris Wood (the golfer) has a season ticket in the posh seats, although he's abroad a lot of the time.
  15. The business was started by one of Rodman's brothers. There are several websites, offering various personalised items for humans and dogs (cue the DC jokes!), some of them are actually quite good if you're looking for something a bit different for a present.
  16. Oooh - I might be tempted to make another visit!
  17. Dean Edwards? He played for City in a "legends" charity match, and I've seen photos of him in the hospitality area at AG.
  18. It's embarrassing because it's far too many! The format of this competition is a joke, and an insult to fans.
  19. Aaaw ****, I'm not prepared for national humiliation - better hide the sharp implements!
