  1. That's 3742 too many - haven't been to a game since the Prem youngsters have been playing in it.
  2. Heart warming to see donations from both sides of the city - as one of your supporters wrote in his comment "cancer has no colours". Thank you. This photo shows Nick foam rolling his leg on the day of a game, at the time he had no idea that he had a cancerous tumour, and was playing through the pain. He's obviously a very determined character, which will be invaluable in helping him through this.
  3. Staff and players at Rovers will be shaving their heads on 16th January (Nick's shirt number), to raise funds for him and his family. Raising funds for Nick Anderton
  4. Fantastic news - absolutely made up for you. I'm not sure if it's sunk in yet for me, to be honest - although it was all done and dusted in less than a year, it seems to be forever since I was last "normal". Bring on the fun in 2023. Take care.
  5. Keeping fingers and everything else crossed for you.
  6. Dot was a professional when it came to laundry, and she isn't a Scouser - no way would she get the gig!
  7. I can answer my own question - there were a group of tourists there, seems Millwall get them, same as the premier league London Clubs do. Germans, or more probably Austrians I think.
  8. Any idea why he gave his shirt to some Millwall fans at the end?
  9. As of yesterday, I am cancer free - so you can take the kid gloves off and get back to abusing me! ? Thank you to everybody for your kind words of support, very much appreciated, I can assure you.
  10. Somebody from the Met would certainly not do Millwall any favours!
  11. Ah, you're too kind! ? Hospital are investigating a shadow in my throat, which showed up on a previous scan. Seeing the Oncologist after Christmas to see how effective the radiotherapy has been on the other areas - fingers crossed. Thank you for asking.
  12. I quoted the post which I was replying to - not sure how more specific I could have been!
  13. I wasn't replying to you, so no idea why you feel the need to post to let people know that you aren't interested. ?
  14. I had to look it up - as you say, Sunderland do usually attract more than that when we play them.
  15. 6,669 - with 1800 from Sunderland - not full, even by today's reduced capacity. Yes, I'm sure a lot of people would want to go to the final - if it happens, As always, I can only speak for myself.
  16. Love to see it now that they've ruined this competition.
  17. That's not what the mirror tells me! ??
  18. Fair play to Plymouth, they are flying and have a good travelling support.
  19. We've always had a smaller attendance than you have at Ashton Gate, you're not exactly delivering any ground breaking news. Although it's not necessarily "poor" for League One. I don't follow the attendance figures avidly, the post just made me laugh as the poster was using a method which a lost of posters on here have said is not legitimate.
  20. So it's okay to measure our undesirable element as a percentage of our total support for comparative purposes, to show that we have a larger percentage than you - but not okay to measure our away support as a percentage of our total support for comparative purposes, as we have a larger percentage than you? Are you a politician, they manipulate the stats to fit the agenda too. ?
  21. The reality is that there are no "family clubs" if we use idiot fans as a measurement, even some of the non-league clubs have an "element" unfortunately. One of the clubs who tries their hardest to do things to benefit the local community is Millwall, they have done for years, but are still tarnished by the "hooligan" reputation.
  22. You must be worn out, carrying that chip on your shoulder all the time. Churning out the same old dirge. Nobody who has attended football regularly over the years would deny that "their club", whoever that may be, has a nasty element amongst the support.
  23. So they are. Bristol City v Millwall Violence Pot/Kettle? ?
  24. It is bricks and mortar - you need to read my original post properly.
