  1. Judge will give his decision at 2 p.m. next Thursday. I'm hoping that KITR might have some inside information before then!
  2. Lunch break, and it is sounding a bit more positive (depending on your preferred outcome!). Judge has pulled up the TRASH barrister on a couple of occasions, apparently he's not looking overly convinced by their case so far.
  3. Early doors, but it's beginning to sound like a BCC administrative failure could de-rail yet another stadium.
  4. Ah, they had probably come via Stapleton Road then!
  5. Yes, they arrived at the Vic 10 mins before kick off, when it was practically empty! Still, I'm sure that the nimbys prefer to see a scuffle on the street, rather than the sight of people carrying those awful Sainsburys carrier bags. P.S. Did anybody know that Bury actually had a firm??
  6. Personally, I thought the Village Green scenario was totally wrong - and I posted that view in some of the threads on here. I know that many of my fellow supporters did enjoy thinking that we had the upper hand - well, we all know what they say about he who laughs last! As stated, we don't have the funding to develop The Mem, so will be in a different position to yourselves if the JR (and any appeals) are lost. Looking at the whole picture, it is a sorry state of affairs for the Bristol area. We'll probably end up with some half-cocked arena, and some lovely Dutch cycle roundabouts, while professional football goes down the drain.
  7. If it's all on camera, and he didn't go towards the away support, then I can't see why he should get convicted for running across the pitch in the excitement. In my mind, there is a difference between that, and those who went on the pitch and headed for confrontation.
  8. That appeared to be the case in the ground - Yellow shirt running onto the pitch several times, guy who approached the Rovers' goalie, people chucking seats and coins, Rovers fans who were late arriving (and were escorted to the ground by the Police) allowed to make a charge towards the Williams stand as soon as they got into the ground. Would be interested to know if anybody saw the police actually being pro-active within the ground, to prevent trouble escalating? I note that the clubs are now saying that those "convicted" will be banned.
  9. Yes, ridiculous and a waste of money. They did nothing inside the ground, but raked in the costs charged to both clubs - then do things the easy way several weeks down the line.
  10. Maybe best to wait and see what they are charged with, before assuming that it's just those who ran on the pitch and made a few hand gestures? (surely not) I haven't seen any of the news footage, so - a serious question - do Police just batter the door down straight away, or do they give the occupants the opportunity to answer a knock?
