  1. Could be Kane's year after all..
  2. Not a bad shout in fairness. Could see him doing a good job here.
  3. What an absolute cock the bloke is. Sooner he is out the door of this football club never to return the better.
  4. Absolutely. Let us remember that also in those 25 years, Blackpool, Bmouth, Luton, Brighton, Cardiff, Swansea, Brentford etc etc have all tasted the Premier League before we have. Bar the infrastructure it has been a complete and utter failure.
  5. Damage was done the moment Lansdown didn't cut his losses on LJ and just thought that throwing more and more money at it would be the solution. Credit to Ipswich and if it ever was proof that Mark Ashton was never the real issue than this surely is it. Steve Lansdown is utterly clueless at running a successful football club at this level it has been proven time and time again.

    8-1

A pretty embarrassing stat considering the tens of millions we have thrown at it in that time aswell in comparison to them..
  7. Bolton should have relegated them in 2014, we should have done it in 2017.. At last they get what they deserve.. Cheerio Birmingham City
  8. get in Plymouth! Keep right on down to League One blue noses
  9. Masters at the great escape it seems. Lucky *****.
  10. Birmingham down as things stand. Keep right on... all the way down to League one
  11. Im surprised people even still bother with the club shop or any club merchandise at all to be honest. Been done to death on here over the years and it only looks to get progressively worse every year with nobody at the club seemingly thinking it is an issue. You'd hope that if and when we get new investors this will be the first thing they will look at improving because the Lansdown's seem incapable of employing people that can.
  12. You'd imagine that behind closed doors and within the Lansdown family this one will be of particular embarrassment to them and in particular Steve. Echo what others have said, Ashton was never held accountable for the over spending on bang average players. I remember at the height of the Ashton circus the amount of abuse he was personally getting from the fanbase. It was only a small minority who could see the bigger picture that in actual fact it was those above him allowing him to have free reign that are the issue at this football club and shock horror they are still here. Like i said its just yet another embarrassment for Steve to go alongside all the other hideous mistakes he has made here.
  13. cool as you like from Kane
  14. Fair play for coming on and sharing that, as others have said takes a huge amount of courage to do so. Certainly a lesson to many that as a society we really shouldn't be so quick to judge / condemn others without knowing the full story of such situations.
  15. He looks to be a very astute signing, Pearson certainly had an eye for a player that is for sure
  16. Obviously purely speculation on my part but i have a feeling Manning will be backed fairly heavily this window, we have seen it before with LJ and i wouldn't at all be surprised if we did sign him for £5m or close to that the powers that be would still find plenty left in the infamous 'nest egg' to give Manning and Tinnion the other targets they want..
  17. Just seen the Leeds score, absolutely mental result that. The championship in a nutshell, one of the hardest and most unpredictable leagues in world football for sure IMO.
  18. Yup, very interesting. I said on another thread a few weeks back that i personally feel he will get backed heavily this summer.
  19. Twine is so frustrating, certainly gets himself into good positions but his end product just seems to be lacking more often than not. Undoubtedly he is a talented neat and tidy player but he just feels like yet another one of those that just flatters to deceive.
