pongo88
I can't even remember him. When he did play he obviously didn't make an impression
Ray White
Not as bad as Foster but he was still rubbish when he did get a game although I suppose that could've been psychological.
MichaelRobartes
I remember him being poor whenever he played. Maybe not as bad as Foster but certainly in the same league. What is it with City and bringing in awful full backs?
Kid in the Riot
He was shit to be fair. He's had a pretty sheltered career with just two clubs up in Scotland so not used to being "frozen out" when a new manager comes in obviously. But as we are all to aware, it happens all the time. And as we were also aware, SOD is no socialite...

MichaelRobartes
I didn't particularly rate McAlister either but he's certainly not anywhere near the same league as any of the names mentioned here.

Monkeh
Wilson wasn't awful but he wasn't that good ether, he was avarge, But reading it does sum up SoD's man management skills and prob explains why we had no fight under him,
catcott_red1
Maybe just maybe you didn't play in the starting 11 because you played crap when you were there Mark? You can do all the extra running around you like after training but that's no good when you can't defend!! "I was one of the better players" Nice to see he's modest too! tts_city
i did read the article thanks, my point is he was not anywhere near the first team even toward the end of dereks reign yet he still took up the option of extending his own contract when he could have ended his "nightmare" the poor lamb. bearded_red
As I posted on another thread, if he 'loved working with Derek' so much then perhaps he should have shown some fight in the Millwall and Blackburn games at the tail end of McInnes' time here rather than amble around hopelessly making Foster look good. Shocking player and incapable of breaking into anything beating a jog. The fact he has played 9 times in the league since joining them in August would also hint at the fact that maybe we didn't quite miss out on the Scottish Cafu. MichaelRobartes
Eco, can I introduce Messrs Brian Williams and Craig Woodman...... My only real memory of Craig Woodman is the penalty miss against Boro in the cup replay some years back. Think it was our last promotion season. Major Isewater
he did mention it if you read the artical and was told by SoD that it wasn't an issue, so if it was then SoD was lying to him A new angle on the SOD v SC argument ,SOD v a not very good ex-player ! I'm with Sean Strange every time . A very misunderstood character .

Eco
Eco, can I introduce Messrs Brian Williams and Craig Woodman...... Not quite in the Brennan, Bell, Barnard, Scott, McAllister league I admit but I wouldn't say they were bad though. Had a soft spot for Brian Williams after seeing him in Yatton chippy on a Saturday night, he'd just returned from Chesterfield after a goalless draw.
