Somerset Head Coach, Jason Kerr has named the following 13-man squad: Tom Abell (c), Azhar Ali, Jack Brooks, Eddie Byrom, Josh Davey, Steve Davies, Lewis Gregory, Tim Groenewald, James Hildreth, Jack Leach, Craig Overton, Marcus Trescothick and Paul van Meekeren. 

Kent have named the following squad: Heino Kuhn (c), Daniel Bell-Drummond, Alex Blake, Mitchell Claydon, Zak Crawley, Sean Dickson, Fred Klaassen, Matt Milnes, Harry Podmore, Matt Renshaw, Adam Riley, Ollie Robinson and Darren Stevens.

Kent opening batsman Sean Dickson, who was injured in their opening match against Loughborough, has passed a fitness test and will bolster a batting line-up minus captain Sam Billings and vice-captain Joe Denley, both away (although not playing) at the IPL.

The leveller for the mighty Somerset has always been and still is the pitches at Taunton. They’re invariably batsman friendly.

They did fantastically well to finish runners up last season.

Not recently.... Its nicknamed Cyderabad lately for a reason

And shock that 2 of the 3 games starting today don't start on time, its April 5th!

Wouldn't agree with that, just look at the last two seasons where Leach and Bess have taken wickets for fun

Shocking start for Derbyshire Luis Reece is caught behind off the first ball of the season, two balls later captain Billy Godleman is bowled - great opening over from Chris Rushworth

Elsewhere Philip Salt and Luke Wells are out for Sussex in the first four overs for only 5 runs

Sadly pissing down in TA1
