DavidNoble
Just checked out the webcam for the stadium rebuild and noticed that a lot of the front rows of the new West Stand appear to be wet from the rain that we had today, perhaps the roof doesn't go as far forward as we might like? WolfOfWestStreet
Rain doesn't always fall in a straight line. I used to love the sound of rain off the tin roof of the East end whilst the lower dolman got soaked;)

If you checked today the pictures will be from yesterday when it was pretty windy and led to near horizontal rain at times.
spudski
People got soaked in the lower section when it was the Williams stand as well...you'd have to have a roof like Milan to keep everyone dry. And look at the state of that pitch...

WhistleHappy
....at least everyone in the upper tier will be nice and dry in wet weather, shielded from much of the wind on windy days and on sunny days have the sun behind them so they won't need to wear shades or squint, .... Oops I forgot, ....oh well the upper rows of new empty seats will be nicely protected anyway eh?

MigratedRobin
The pre-dominant wind is from the south west, so most of the time the rain will be falling the other way (straight into the Dolman)
