RoystonFoote'snephew
More Spanish football administration madness. Brought in for this season, Spanish clubs receive a fine if the attendance at a game is less than 70% of ground capacity. Bizarre.
ZiderEyed
What? I guess it acts as an incentive to lower prices?

While not totally related the NFL has some rule that a game cannot be shown on TV unless it is sold out.
pongo88
This is crazy as it does nothing to encourage clubs to develop their grounds. City would need gates of nearly 19k to avoid a fine if applied to the Championship. Easy if the team is playing well and it’s against a good team, but not so easy if the team is on a bad run and at home to dull team who only bring a couple of hundred supporters for a cold midweek match in winter. So all the politicians were 'retired' to running Spanish football.
