BcfcDuncs
Looks like a chance of snow Thursday and Friday in Bristol area , good chance it will come to nothing . But maybe potential of games being called off over the weekend . We all know how cautious the health and safety folk are these days . But definitely going to be a few layers sort of day Saturday Whatever.

If games do get called off it’ll be because of the danger to suppprters in and around the stadiums. I imagine the vast majority of fixtures will have no real threat of postponement. havanatopia
Be nice if the Blades and Boro matches are postponed. Ours goes ahead, we win amd we are secure, for now, in 6th. For some reason the table would look remarkably odd and not a little lop sided with City outside the top six.

I agree with the first part of your post, but I suspect there may be some frozen pitches in the lower leagues, although with the amount of notice they have had you would hope they have taken precautions. Aren't some parts of the country due heavy falls?

wendyredredrobin
6 inches of snow would probably improve the Mem. But they don't have a home game this weekend.
ChippenhamRed
I'd say there's a pretty strong risk of significant snowfall later in the week, and therefore a strong chance of postponement. If there's widespread snow I'd expect quite a few games to be off, based on travel issues more than pitch condition.
Red Army 75
Remember when we had the sags . Absolutely freezing . Pitch was fine apparently. But called off as unsafe conditions outside . Can’t remember the year

Mr Popodopolous
@RedLionLad I seem to recall QPR at home I think New Year's Day 2002 was it? Notts County same year- not a postponement but an abandonment at half-time as it was totally pissing it down.

GrahamC
Wasn’t there a home game under McInnes (I have Watford in mind for some reason) that was called off about quarter of an hour before kick off?

Boxing Day rain storm. Spent ages mopping the pitch. Watford were on fire at the time, they would have slaughtered us.
