I thought Korey Smith had a nightmare. Gave the ball away for 2 of the goals, distribution slow , and his defending was again poor. His form has dropped dramatically but nobody seems to pick up on it. He needs strong competition next season , in fact I’d see him as a back up midfielder. If he can get back to his early season form then great, but he has to be at his very best otherwise our midfield looks timid.

FlintSaidNo
We scored 5, including at least 3 very good goals! Could have scored several more as well. Last two games we’ve been looking more like our old selves going forwards, and in both cases have been let down by some absolutely awful defending/goalkeeping. Not much you can do as it’s coming from players who are usually very reliable. Think a big part of it could be down to both physical and mental fatigue

Rossi the Robin
I enjoyed it, my hopes weren’t high on play offs before the match so just wanted to see a good game, sun, beers with friends and a seat with a different view Cracking afternoon which has again created plenty of enjoyable banter on OTIB Brilliant forum

How the club failed to recruit any additional specialist holding midfielders is staggering. Engine room? More like a thouroughfare.

Is that true? We are 3 points off 6th with 6 points still available Burton are 31 points off 6th with 6 points available That means we have a far better chance of reaching the play offs than Burton. You should have compared our chances to a team in similar points an form to us - Sheff Utd. We are as likely to make them as Sheff Utd.

Famaras best ? performance for us Yes, 10 goals in a gameis unusual. A win was needed so Im not glad. Score goal we can most of the games, thats positive. Famara I liked from the beginning, he knows how to handle a chance. Pack can shoot and he showed it yesterday. Bobby is one of a kind, he solve problems when I think noo. Now I have a rest here in Bristol, going back to Sweden tomorrow. Phu, this was a season to remember. 3-0 Sunderland, 2-0 Leeds and yesterday 3-1 and 4-2. Plenty of joy with our team first half of the season. The defend has to be better next season, no question about it. Always believe, COYR!!! Red-Robbo
I think I agree that was Fammy's best game here. He's a funny lad. One week he can seem as strong as an ox, the next he can be pushed off the ball as easily as an 8-year-old girl.
SedRA
We were moving the ball quickly, which we haven’t done in long time. Much less frustrating to watch than the sideways and longball rut we had gotten into.

It was the same in our good runs last season. Need to keep this up for a full season. I agree that the attacking performance yesterday was the best for a long time, so that’s a positive. I did say on about 60 mins that he was having a blinder and shouldn’t be automatically subbed. How wrong I was. He was poor for the last third( probably ran himself into the ground) and had he been replaced by Taylor I think we would have won the game .
