Super Posted May 8, 2018 Report Share Posted May 8, 2018 Discussion on Talksport saying that when the fixtures are brought out there is an arrangement that the top 6 teams cannot play against each other on the opening or final weekend and has been going on for a few years. Fairly certain the only reason fairly certain the only the reason that happened was because of the Hillsborough disaster and that game wasn’t played because Liverpool didn’t play the week after it happened.
