Seems like the usual pendulum suggestion you get when confidence in a manager is low - the polar opposite becomes in vogue.

Not suggesting for a minute we should go for Keane, but he did win the championship as Sunderland manager, taking them from a relegation spot to champions in 2006/2007....”terrible managers” don’t win the (arguably) fifth best division in Europe....it’s such a tough division and not many managers ‘win’ it in their first season at a club....you can’t fluke that....
