You’ll find none that will admit it out right, they will generally say ‘I’ve always followed both’

I was taken to watch both as a child, and chose Rovers when I was old enough to go to matches on my own. Of course I would love us to have your wealth, and all that it brings with it, but Rovers are my club of choice and that's the way it will stay.

Last season we took 855 to Barnsley....

Interesting.

In the last 25 years - a quarter of a century - we have been to Barnsley 17 times. In the same time - 25 years - Rovers have played Barnsley once. So a new ground for many of them. But not for us.

I wish the City fan upsetting himself in the build up to West Brom away, about our following there midweek, was on here reading all this. He has been taken in big time by there bullshit myth making.

Fair play, and I mean that as my Dad, Grandad and Great Grandad were all gasheads.....you should feel privileged to be able to place that post on here though....in reverse that wording would be sufficient to be banned from Gaschat....it really is pathetic....

Any particular reason you chose the blue side? Mates or something? that`s what it was for me, I lived in Taunton and all my friends went to City.

It could just as easily been Exeter if they`d gone down there and my football-supporting life would have been very different!

We have got some gullible fans who are taken in by the Gas bullshit they hear in the pub or at work.

The facts speak for themselves.

Interesting stats about how many times we’ve visited Oakwell compared to them. Makes you wonder how many they’d have taken if it was a ground they’d visited regularly?

We also took over a thousand more to Burton than they did.

Its almost as if our away support is actually far better than theirs despite what they tell everyone.

That’s a surprise, isn’t it?

That can’t be true though Pete, cos the day after we humped Man Utd in the league cup they were calling Talksport to spout to the nation...”Yeh but, yeh but, we take more fans to away games than them”.....and they did the same on the Man City forum when we lost narrowly to a properly rich club over two legs.....so it must be true, cos they say so....everyone loves them and hates us, they have a unique kit, they are superior fans to us, they take massive numbers away.....it’s all true, cos they say so....

There is one thing in which they are superior to us though. They have a far greater sense of insecurity and lack of self worth.

Poor bloke was so upset, cross even. We took 1800 to West Brom in the end, which is alright.

With two successive promotions and then finishing 10th in L1 in 2017, their highest finish in the 92 in 17 years/since 2000, Rovers away support naturally went up. And they made a lot of noise about it. Now, as their form slumps and they are not winning much, the numbers melt away, and surprise surprise, they do not draw any attention to this.

We can only keep putting the facts out there and hope that people resist the lies and the myths and the bullshit of The Few.

Can’t be bothered to count but that don’t look like 446 saddos.....

Roughly 60-70 in the bottom section.

Similar amount in the left side of the top section.

Main block is roughly 20 ish rows of about 28 seats, and half full at best.

My best case guesstimate there is 420

To be fair, da gas have played Barnsley away three times in the last 25 years, but your point still stands....

Not that unique, I believe Mansfield wore it too.

I knew people who supported both teams, it just felt like the right "fit" for me - no doubt I've left myself open to loads of abuse by saying that! ?

It could partly be due to the fact that I do always tend to take the side of the underdog in any competition, oh, and blue is my favourite colour. ?

. . . As in special needs.

Yes, seeing half a dozen unwashed with seventies hairdo's and a combined IQ and teeth of 40 in that quirky jester's outfit looking like they're going to a clowns convention, singing that old zombie like Argyle dirge about a prostitute.

Yes, it truly is special.

Ted's rate him. First name in the team sheet in some eyes. Sickening really

In the eyes of who? Clearly not those in charge.

The general consensus from fans I know is that he's clearly not good enough for where they want to be, despite working hard. I assume his contract is up in the summer so it will be interesting to see if they renew.

I'm sure he'll get a nice welcome back when he returns to the Mem in opposition colours.

I expect you’ll find that he used to go and watch City, but one day he refused to move out of someone else’s seat and got battered by City fans.

On his way home he needed an expert in clearing child pornography from his laptop, so he popped into a random computer shop, in Westbury-on-trym, where the odd looking owner sold him the joys of being a Sag, and the rest is history..!
