They're not bottom though because of Bury and Bolton. Give it a few weeks...

Whereas you aren't bottom because 'B' comes before 'R' in the alphabet - give it a week :)

That's how it is when you are BOTTOM of the league.

3rd from bottom to be fair- could be worse :)

So we haven't played yet but are still in the top half of the new table ... while the only teams below the gas have had a 12 point deduction...

And the only team below you begin with 'R'

Miah and the rest of that un Godly lot can now rest easy, a mate has said there is a £45m consortium in place and it's all going ahead.
Lawyers and Council are sorted apparently , definitely going ahead .

Hilarious that the 15ers think they can take the piss. They can only dream of regularly playing quality teams.

The last time they played leads was when they cleared out Darryl’s locker and found his collection of dog leashes.

It's absolutely nailed on, it's not like they would bullshit us or anything is it?

Spoke to someone today with a financial interest in the fruit market.

Said that a conditional offer to purchase the site had been received, but it would have to be agreed by 75% of the owners and that there are multiple parties that own the site, so far from straightforward.

Also mentioned a 7 to 9 year time scale, so where Wael is getting a two year build from is anyone’s guess? Presumably time would be needed to relocate from the fruit market, aside from all of the other hurdles and issues mentioned in previous threads.

Of course not.

In the last twenty five years you've been mushrooms, that's not going to change.

You've got to be the most gullible, idiotic fans there ever were. Not only would you be doing us a favour by going out of existence, you'd be setting an example for all other candidates of the Darwin awards.

The 'other' team in Bristol... pmsl.

Have a nice night. Don't let the door hit your sister's arse on the way out.

Things not going so well for Hollowhead.

Over the summer is failed to get as many jobs as Rovers have failed to sign players.

His regular column in the EP, reportedly where ‘The former Bristol Rovers and Blackpool manager gives his insight into both camps’ is all about him, him, him.

Still an enjoyable read though...

https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ian-holloway-graham-coughlan-right-3163100

Did I read that right? They asked him to send a detailed response as to why he he should be the new Plymouth manager and he gave a brief reply asking to meet with them?

Announcement expected imminently from Dwane Sports to say they are purchasing a valuable tract of land at St Phillips, Bristol on which they will build a new 20 000 capacity multi-sports stadium. The development will also include a hotel, offices, restaurants, cinema complex and associated parking.

The project is said to be financed  through the support of the Bahrain Arab  International Bank (BAIB) and the Kuwait Asia Bank.

The Memorial ground will get sold off to fund the scheme, hotels etc will get built using that money, and then when it comes to building the football stadium the money would have ran out.

Actually, there are several teams below us. One of them beginning with the letter B which is 23 places below...

There may have been a mistake in translation from the original Arabic.

Apparently Mr Al-Qadi does not have a cinema complex in his plan but he does have an inferiority complex.

In typical Gas fashion we’re at 25K having started at a more realistic 20K. How long before the bloody thing is bigger than Old Trafford?

Hope the cinema screen works better than their nrw big screen at the Mem and doesn't show Babestation in the interval.

Meanwhile, back down on planet Earth .............

If I was fortunate enough to own the fruit Market site I'd be ramping up the cost of the land now that Shake Stupid has declared in the media that he wants it. (DOH!)

I'd be giving cut price deals with all of the specialist waste companies to dump as much Asbestos and land fill shite I could get my articulated grabber on to make them feel at home, and if Stupid still wants it then I'll have to walk my dog all òver it and register it as a Town Village Green.

People think Avengers Endgame made a lot of money. But if the Gas stadium had a cinema then it would have made £200billion thanks to the people locked out.

Interesting to hear the bloke from fruit market changed his tune on Radio Bristol this morning , talking more on how it will take more than 2 years to find a new site for fruit market ...seems to be some legs in this but whatever happens it will end in disaster.... Might wind the next in on the it's BS for now to save grief & just go back to taking the piss when it all eventually goes wrong
