Bristol Rovers Dustbin Thread

Recommended Posts

Congratulations to Rovers. Back to back promotions is tough at any level. Will be interesting to see how they get on next season. If they ever reach the championship I might start feeling threatened. Until then, well I literally can't name a single one of their players, which tells you how much I'm watching!

Good for them.

Given the dire state of the club it's a remarkable achievement.

Wonder how much that rich owner they've got is going to spend now in the summer? Including the new stadium and stuff I bet it's like 100million or some thing.

Wonder how long DC will be around? He's done a great job. If the Peterborough one is still open and they are after an up and coming young coach who can build a side on the cheap.....

In anticipation of the usual bollocks, can I just point out that if there is significant coverage of this in the Post next week it doesn't mean they are biased against us. It just means that the second team in Bristol getting a second consecutive promotion is understandably more newsworthy than a meaningless Championship fixture.

I genuinely don't think they realise what division we play in.

If they are actually singing "Are you watching Ashton Gate" then truly shows how pathetic they are. Are we watching? No why would we be? We play in the Championship, you play in League 2, though next year League 1. Still below us I might add. We have a new refurbished stadium. They have a swamp. Have to be the most embarrassing set of fans in this country. Stop worrying about your better rivals, concentrate on yourselves and enjoy the day while you can. Utter embarrassment, though I'd expect no more from them,
