Next season

When Derby were drawing and 'boro' winning, I thought next season could be ideal for travelling fans with no long distance or awkward journeys to make.

Brighton & Newcastle stay up, Sunderland stay down and boro' up through the P/Os. Norwich & Ipswich gone and once again no trips to Carlisle, Grimsby or Gillingham.

OK, we're disappointed not to make the P/Os ourselves, but three out of Leeds, Villa, WBA & Derby are going to fail in them, so IMHO, not that superior to City after all. Hopefully WBA will win as their fans aren't so stuck up about being a Prem club only on loan to the Championship. We fans can sit back and enjoy the P/Os without too much emotion

City's final game of 2019-20 will be their 2,200th at "Tier 2" level and if we score 57 goals, that will be 2,900 at this level.

The 17th victory of next season will be City's 1,800th since joining the League and the first goal of next season will be number 6,600.

Finally, presumably certain players won't be with us in August, so thanks to all for your efforts and good luck for the future (except when your're playing against City for your new club).

Just looked back to last season. Norwich finished 14th; W15  D15  L16  F49  A60

This season W27  D13  L6 two less draws and ten less defeats. F93  A57 that's 44 more goals, but their defence only conceded three less.

Draw from those figures whichever conclusion uou wish.

The conclusion I've drawn are 1, that they did better this season.  And 2, they are Champions.
