cidered abroad
RIP City fan even if it's not our City! There are many thousands like him and while we support our own club, we acknowledge and respect fellow fans of all clubs.
spudski
I think if we all spent a day in the shoes of every person, either Coach or player, we would all be more reluctant to scorn. The older generations have been through a lot and get it. It's so easy with hindsight and little knowledge of what's going on at a Club behind the scenes. The older you get, the more you realise how everything is so easy to complain about...even though you've never even played or coached. We all complain...but none of us would change the ride of following our Club. I'm sure most of us would have the same sentiments after so many years. PhilC
What a nice story. I love how the kids said "we go to the game, because granddad would want us to go to". RIP old timer.
