Crazy to think it was today one year ago, with City's win at Birmingham, which not only ensured WSL survival that season, but was the last game the team played in front of fans (including myself)!

Thanks for sharing.

I’ve been meaning to give the Vixencast a listen and will do soon.

I suggested a while back that the OSIB lads give the City women at least a mention on their pod but no such luck, even re the cup final has been ignored afaik.

Keep posting the episode links to remind us.

So it seems City Women's next game against Reading on March 7th has not only moved to Ashton Gate, but pushed back to Monday March 8th for BT Sport coverage.

They haven't had a game on that channel for nearly two years & have two in a week (the other being the Conti Cup Final).

Bit annoying as I don't have BT Sport. Hopefully there'll be another way to watch the game (and hoping the final will at least be on BT Sport's YouTube)

If any City Women fans, or fans of the Women's Super League overall are interested, I'll be taking part in a live episode of On & Off The Pitch's live #WSLTAKEOUT TONIGHT from 6:00pm.

Also joining host Rodney Cyrus will be Craig Hadley from the Brum is Blue Podcast, Allie Coker from the We Are The Girls in Claret & Blue podcast, and Emmma Shone from the MCW Fancast podcast.

Apart from being a vital opportunity to gather some points, it will be a chance to see some former Vixens, like Jess Fishlock, Haz James and Tash Harding. What we would give for some of their talents now. Reading have a good record this season but are not the most prolific of scorers.

Still, the game's under lights and on the box so fingers crossed for a result.

Can you tell me what time kick off and what channel please.Hopefully not another hopeless early start time!

Need to correct my earlier post: Haz James has recently left Reading to go Stateside, so no chance of seeing her. However, it remains a test for the City girls and a point tonight would be seen as a point gained.

And who wants to look at the West Ham-Leeds game anyway?

Reading at the draw specialists so may not be a bad result this evening

Salmon not just a speed threat, she has vision too. Will be a tough job to keep her at the Gate for next season - must be attracting some interest from richer clubs.

Apart from the carve-up for the goal the girls are playing with confidence and committment. Will Reading revert to type and settle for the draw? It will be a 90 minute game tonight.
