internetjef
Who gets the job now brownhill is gone? I would give it to Korey myself if the medical team think they can keep him fit regularly

BCFC Rich
Realistically you probably want one of Smith, Kalas and Bentley. Probably go with Smith given current form, experience, time at the club and history.
Davefevs
Smith for me.
Prinny
More importantly, who takes over doing the medium throws?

Kempson
I reckon Bentley for now. If Smith can keep fit and get back to his best then him in the summer.

You need a player that's going to be in and around the ball and the ref at all times.
Sydneybcfc
Seems to me who the on pitch captain is now fairly irrelevant, with the manager yelling instructions from the touchline there isn't that big a role for a captain as ideally we should have many leaders on the pitch armband or not. Its probably more important for the off field role in being the spokesman for the players and general go to experienced head for the younger players, fairly sure Carey was still 'Club captain' in his final season when he barely played as his impact as captain off field was where it was most useful. If so, 100% agree, captain ideally an outfield player and in the mix of things. Korey for me personally

Both great characters and i can't see anyone close to these two for this job.
Simon79
Smith all day long. Great character, good player & is consistently talking to people around him. No one else even comes close in my opinion. Epitomises what you should want in a Bristol City player imo. COYR

WarksRobin
I think Bailey was club captain and Josh was first team captain - both now gone. Korey the obvious candidate for both roles

Vocal, hard worker, professional, committed. Personally, I'd have him on the bench so wouldn't be my pick, but I can see where bengalcub is coming from. DT The Optimist
A few calls shouts for Ashley Williams that I would concur fully with and his experience and background second to none. Natural leader as well way Marshall’s defence.
