So for example in the Forest game, they appeal the first one and the VAR disagrees as happened. No penalty and no more appeals? Or is it a case of if you appeal, you'd almost be forcing the VAR to make a decision in your favour to avoid backlash? I feel like that would just open it up to even more confusion personally.

I'm not sure how people think being able to "appeal" like in cricket etc would help. These decisions people are talking about have already been reviewed and people will always disagree with subjective calls

Why was the game "ruined"? It was incredible drama and one of the most amazing endings to a game you could ever have

Norwich City away match thread

If that's the best still, it looks onside to me -
FA Cup: No no, no no no no, no no no no, no no - There's no replays!

I don't necessarily mind the decision, and would generally welcome far bigger changes to the structure of all comps anyway, but not consulting all the clubs is a disgrace -
No more domestic broadcasts online as of next season

I guess that's true, although I'm not sure that really helps any more. Enough people already get their football fix from the "big" games and couldn't give a toss about their local teams regardless of what time the games are -

Seems pretty mental to keep the 3pm block only to just move half the games outside of that window to avoid the block anyway -
He's 21 mate. I'm pretty sure you don't talk the same way as the generations before you either

Aye. Sykes, Twine, Conway, Wells and Mehmeti were awful last night.. Strange thread imo. Sykes has made a massive difference in the recent great form, starting from when he came on against Swansea to break the losing trend

I think common sense for me. Although it could well be given, I don't really see how that affects Bayern enough to cry about. It was just a little miscommunication that had no consequence to the gameplay itself Ref was excellent in his general demeanor and control of the game.

Just the one Southampton this week. Nice to see him a bit more relaxed and open following the recent good form. Good chance to end the season well now and get people behind him for next year

People rightly slating Ben White for this, and yet it seems the majority are fine with Ryan Yates rolling round trying to get Madison sent off
