where's the joy
I hope, and pray, that our owners have seen the value of hiring the best possible coach that they can, via their rugby club. A coach so well respected that players can be persuaded to join us simply because of the reputation of that person. Holden may be talented, he may enable us to play better, but i can't believe that he could attract high calibre players. So for that reason i believe that the club are keeping so quiet because they are tying up a stellar appointment, who will put 5000 extra season ticket sales on the books. The messiah is coming!!! always believe

tin
I hope so, too. But there's are subtle differences with the rugby club's board: Jon Lansdown sits only as a director, not a chairman Bears chairman Chris Booy was involved with Bristol Rugby long before the Lansdowns Bears CEO Mark Tainton is Bristol's all-time leading points scorer The other board member looks after the finances Steve Lansdown has far less interference What that says to me is that most of the people on the Bears' board hold genuine ambition, know the club inside out and can connect with the fans. We have the polar opposite.

We’re getting knocked back by applicants left, right and centre, hence all these various names being thrown up by GMG. 3) The club are just making a total pigs ear of the whole process. I’m sure there will be plenty of fans with other suggestions,.

Which Lansdown seems to think he has on football but consistently demonstrates he lacks by his repeatedly poor selections as City manager.

Mr Popodopolous
Here we go again!! The rugby comparison is misleading for a variety of reasons. This post is in no way an endorsement of Holden but it's apples and oranges, apples and pears, a red herring to compare.
