Terry Boyle's Perm
I believe his passion and desire got the better of him. I think sacking him was the best they could do for him as his mental health was rapidly declining and he was no longer acting rationally, forgetting players’ names being a good example. Good luck to him for the future. Whoever eventually replaces will be unable to match his desire and commitment.
Alan Dicks
Just confirms to me that Johnson overthinks things.
Dynamite Red
He talks a good game, always has. That piece is one giant sales pitch about his achievements, fair play. You could also paint another picture and is the reason he is looking for another job. Thanks, goodbye but best to go our separate ways.
Fordy62
I needed that tonight. One last hurrah to the Johnsonisms. I can’t help but read it in David Brent’s voice. I don’t hate the bloke, but my word he can be a pillock.
maxjak
My God! He can certainly trot it out......it's like turning on a frigging tap. Buzz word after Buzz phrase, it sounds so rehearsed. He has a list of bullet points, and he will make sure everyone is ticked. Such a humble man?
TonyTonyTony
Honestly don’t know how anyone can be harsh about that. Clearly loves the club - lived his dream - tried his best but recognised he fell short. Good on him I say
Nibor
Good luck to him. If he wants to succeed at this level he will have to figure out how to coach better performances out of individuals instead of yoinking them out of the XI and changing it every week. I must have had 600-plus messages. I was in tears.” He opens his phone. “I’ll tap in a random name. Adam Nagy — that was a nice message.” It’s long and heartfelt from the Hungarian international, paying tribute to Johnson as a manager and a man. “I get messages like that and you cry your eyes out. "My proudest moment here wasn't when I increased profits by 17%, or cut expenditure without losing a single member of staff. No. It was a young Hungarian guy, first job in the country, hardly spoke a word of English, but he came to me and he went "Mr. Johnson, will you be the Godfather to my child?". Didn't happen in the end. We had to let him go, he was rubbish. He was rubbish!"
The Constant Rabbit
"Someone Love Me" It wasn't as bad as I feared - didn't go full Mark Ashton level BS - but my word, he does like to drop a name or three doesn't he. Is he still the 8th best manager in Europe under 40 still? Or do you have to actually have a job? Perhaps Nagy could fix him up?
Superjack
Total bluffer. Good luck to him. Someone will fall for it. Shame that it turns out that he was just one of many at the club.

Davefevs
Good interview. Glad it wasn’t the “big I am”. Still wish him well. Decent bloke off the pitch in the main. Heart was in our club. Tried his best, came up short (no pun), but did improve us.
Guest
I can see him back at the club, in much the same way that Darren Ferguson keeps going back to Peterborough (I'm not advocating it, just saying).
bcfcredandwhite
I don’t see any BS in this. I supported him as long as I possibly could - possibly longer than I should have, but in the end he had to go. I really hope he finds success in management - I believe it when he says he loves our club. What would aid his success would be to analyse what the fans are saying as well as those great managers he holds in high esteem.

BetterRedthanBlue
Good read and I can't see any BS in there. Loves the club with a passion and it didn't work out. Imo if he does find another club to continue his development learn more lessons I wouldn't mind having him back. When you have someone who loves the club in charge it helps sell the club to the players.
exAtyeoMax
As Warnock says, he talks a good game. He will probably make a good pundit or DoF, or coaching assistant for a top manager, leave the match day and man management to someone else. will be interesting to see where he goes. He should be able to sneak in as an Under-12 in the Family Area?
