QPR (a) - Tues 19:45 1st Dec - What Can We Expect?

Superb second half. Change of Rowe for Dasilva was just what the doctor ordered and Samuel didn't like the extra physicality that Tommy brought on to the pitch, while Kalas, Vyner and Mariappa were really solid. O'Dowda and Nagy were top class playing higher up the pitch and both involved in Adam's winner. Great bounce back from Saturday.

Brunt had a good 2nd half which allows Nagy to play further forward and get in 3 shots on goal  A far better attacking performance tonight without Pato  COD unplayable at times fair play to him

And yet there were comments on Saturday that he isn't good enough. Too polarised on here at times. O'Dowda, Nagy, Vyner and Rowe all had great games tonight.

We kicked it in twice.

They kicked it in only once.

Almost 2 points a game, continue like this then automatic promotion is on the cards...

Kick it in the goal.
Kick it in the goal.
Come on City, come on City.
Kick it in the goal.

Well we could have lost that 5 something. Thankfully QPRs finishing was as bad as our play in the first half. Good effort by O'Dowda, Nagy, Kalas and Wells. MOM for me was Nagy closely followed by O'Dowda. But somebody on here said "good leadership" by Brunt. Obviously a comedian. Slow, doesn't mark and no help to DaSilva. But 3 points are very welcomed. How the f.....k are we 3rd.

Well done for turning it around. Dean must have got things right at half time which is a good sign.

In truth we couldn't possibly be anything but better second half although a few harsh words were no doubt imparted...........and the players couldn't complain after that first 45. They wouldn't have been "instructed" to perform like that.

Got to admit I thought Brunt that second half was class. Nothing fancy, just breaking up play, simple passes, control the game. A good experienced head. Very good half from him. Good 3pts.

He was very vocal in his organization too. That's what he was brought in to do, game management. Hopefully we won't need him to start too many games.

What many forget its a 90 minute game, to throw the towel in after 15 minutes is poor from OTIB, gas smell has dispersed, funny that. Character from the lads, no doubting Dean and the coaching team offer much more than we have had for years in changing the game.

One or two "regulars" have gone quiet that's for sure. Nothing wrong with criticising that first half because it was rubbish but at least be happy when we turn the game round rather than sloping off into the evening (you can guaranteed they would be around typing their bile had we got gubbed 4-1).

Most people would have been happy with a point at Reading and a point at QPR.

We got three, so happy days!!!

Yep I think that’s a fair point and a good way to look at it.   Biggest positive for me from tonight is not going on another bad run after a defeat. Think we lose or at best draw that last season.

And who are Derby Country?  Is that the Rooney effect?  That's a new one on me!

With Rooney in charge they’ve been upgraded from  a county to a country.

Think that’s best summarised as good result, poor performance. The first half performance especially, was shocking. We should have been buried.

For the positives, well we won and are third so that’s nice! Subs were smart so credit Dean. And some big performances, Vyner, Rowe, and especially Callum excellent. Wells 2 goals in 2 which is a great sign. Hard watch at times but improved as the game went on. Big win to start the month. COYR!
