We have been reasonable up until then, certainly compared to Saturday . Brentford have huge team confidence that comes from that non losing streak. It will be a tough hour to go, but we are a threat . THats great to see .

I’ve enjoyed it so far, much better.

This is OK, young players playing, Brentford are the better side but not by much, Massengo and Edwards look sharp. Positive performance. Brentford counter press is incredible, we have no time on the ball.

Are you kidding? Hes been immense and our defence has looked a hundred times better with him in it. He got to the ball ahead of Fosu there. He got very unlucky. Let's not over-analyse it and start rewritting history.

Agreed- Brentford are a strong passing and pressing side though, so that will play a role too, forcing errors somewhat- is far better than Saturday though and far better than any League game away from home for some time.

Watching the goal again, no surprise that it came on our more makeshift left side- Mariappa makeshift LB, Edwards inexperienced- think Hunt-Semenyo otoh is fairly tactically sound.

It's like a cup game between a Premier League side and a League 1 team.

The expectation is entirely on Brentford and the result is we're playing with more freedom when we do get a chance with the ball.

Exactly what I’ve said previous. There is effort and endeavour and attempting attacking play. I don’t mind so much losing if we do that.
