ontariored
Garbage in, Garbage out. The Lansdowns have been associated with Bristol City since 1996; been Board members for nigh on 15 years and dominant roles for close to twelve years. What has changed? What have we achieved? ~ Same old footballing mess; New training ground; New buildings + improvements to stadium. If the football mess , albeit, same old garbage doesn't change we will be griping the same old on this website + 20 years and on. We seem happy at chucking money down the toilet instead of making good use of it. The history of our football manager selection has not improved, in fact, we have a history of not selecting the proven abundance of that needed to grow. We seem to form relationships and rely on those relationships to maintain our decision making. Things need to change at the top and inject those running the club with what is needed at successful footballing growth. Its all rather boring really isn't it ? Goodbye....... Mr Popodopolous
@ontariored You talk about poor managerial appointments but I can list 3 failures here who have had either before, after, or before and after successful careers elsewhere. Pulis- No fan of him but a relartive success in many of his jobs. Coppell- We went on about Hughton and his two promotions...Coppell had three yet walked after a mere two competitive games! Even retired. O'Driscoll- Solid body of work- Bournenmouth, Doncaster and strangely sacked at Nottingham Forest. Complete catastrophe here.
