This season only, due to Covid a player can play for three clubs. Sunderland fans weren’t happy and feared the worse before the game. I think Lincoln loaned him in only a day or two ago as their keeper is out with concussion. /

Sweeneys Penalties
loved this quote from their forum.... where have we seen this before We hit the bar twice that was a key turning point ‘ ‘We switched off for the first goal ‘ ‘ the second was a poor error’ ‘ their keeper played well’ ‘ still all to play for’ ‘ we need to start Saturday on the front foot’ ‘ we need to refocus and sharpen minds and feet

Northern Red
I think it's unlikely that not going up would cost him his job straight away but he'd need to start very well next season. Another poor run would finish him.

TomThumb84
I am slightly amused by Sunderland fans though. Having watched the Netflix documentary and viewed their opinions from afar over the last few seasons, they seem to think that they have a divine right to be promoted without question, despite the complete shambles the club has become. LJ is expected to win every minute of every game and as we all know he can go literally months without one when he gets on a roll. Not a good mix I fancy, but who do they want and expect? Sir Alex to come out of retirement to return the magnificent mackems to their “rightful place”?! May 19th 44 years ago was a tough night for them thanks to us, and tonight is no better! Well done The Imps!!

Midlands Robin
The capacity of Sunderland's ground is big enough to take the average attendance of the 11 smallest clubs in League 1 combined (From 2018/19 stats) It must be bizarre watching League 1 football in a ground built for 49000 fans.
