And Hoddle and Taylor one each? If I’ve got all that wrong it’s time to get off the Malbec! And Taylor's was a header I seem to remember, that would be rare as hens teeth. I kept the Post/Green Un from the week before, for ages. R*vers manager , Don Megson saying something like. We have plans in place for Lee, we will keep him quiet . We've played him in the reserves so we know what to expect.

Yep the Taylor header was hilarious, he ran off to celebrate while pointing repeatedly at his head as if to say “I can’t believe I scored with a header” - happy times! 054123
Just to be clear, as much as I don’t like Joey Barton, we’re all in agreement that he should lose his job for using the word holocaust as in nuclear holocaust?
Fordy62
In incredible. Who’d have thought Joey’s tenure would rival the relegation season. penny to a pound Wally is speaking with his solicitors to see if he’s got a way out.
Ronnie Sinclair
Hoddle was sacked once for out of order comments, the question is whether or not this is on a par (I think it is, possibly worse)

So is battle, so is decimate, so is disaster. I have no sympathy or liking for Joey Barton what so ever. But I just wanted to clarify that using a word that isn’t a ‘swear’ or a ‘curse’ (and I’m being generous now) is a sackable offence?

Thats certainly an opinion. What in your opinion should be the ramifications, if any, of using words? Again, I personally have the opinion that Joey Barton is a horrible person. But what do we think should happen next? Are there any other words we need to avoid, blitz for example? The Constant Rabbit
Off-Topic I see one of their mods Gregsgas has passed away. All Joshing aside, he seemed a decent chap, and the Rovers fans are clearly devastated - which tells you all you need to know I guess. Too young, way too young. RIP Gregsgas. Times like these, the football comes second. 12

Yes, he should. He didn’t say “nuclear holocaust” though. did he? He said holocaust, which is the term that’s used to describe the attempted annihilation of the Jews in Europe. It is incredible that people don’t understand this or why it is so offensive.
