A penny for LJ’s thoughts.

It's bittersweet but I hope he feels he's played a part in this. He pretty much built this team and was in charge for over half of the matches. Who  knows what would have happened if he'd stayed but he's given Alex Neil a foundation to build from.

On the bright side with Derby going down and Forest possibly going up Sky will still have two "big" teams to show in the championship with Sunderland and (hopefully) Leeds!

Leeds will be on 2 weeks out of 3 the whole of next season.

3000 Sunderland fans at Ashton Gate next season.

A great weekend away in the north east (unless they make it on a Tuesday night!)

Could be worse!

Bored of this rubbish. A weekend in bloody Newcastle is grim.

Used to go up regularly, it’s a nice city and a good evening out. Certainly not grim.

It's a myth that it's a top weekend though

Never been to the Stadium of light, but got to Roker Park when Terry Butcher was their manager, the so called "Roker Roar" was quite impressive, still should have beat them though ..

I disagree with you. And how would you know, since when did you get off your arse anyway? 😉

Actually been there then again if you like places like that and Blackpool then fair enough.

I enjoyed my one and only visit to The Stadium of Shite and would happily go back. Never went to Joker Park though
