I don't think it really matters now whether they do or not. We WILL be playing Aston Villa, Leeds, Wolves, Forest next season and possibly Newcastle or Sunderland.
They will at best be playing Walsall, Port Vale and Gillingham... and at worst, Forest Green, Morecambe or Braintree if they come up!You are right - We really shouldn't care....
But......then I remember my early teens pre/post 1990 (and hearing family stories of them trying to pinch the Gate in 82) and all logic goes out the window,

Annoyingly - I think they are going to get back to back promotions.
Urggghhh.

ARGGGHHHHHH!!! Summer of misery.

Thanks **** that's all over. Utter utter disgrace.
Cook should be writing his resignation letter. Although he probably isn't - no real obvious candidates to replace him unfortunately.

FEEBLE.
Load up on a 5-0 loss boys. We are gone.

Great photo's are you NTTDS in disguise ?! Can you still see the lovely church/cathedral from the ground ?
Surely if I was NTTDS I'd have taken some random shots of people or something
You can still see St Peter's from certain stands. It's was a nice view but I'll take the trade off of having more shade. They were quite a few English taken away in ambulances yesterday!
As for Day 1 of this test - talking about letting them off the hook. We needed to roll em for less than 300 and now they look like getting 400. Going to take a remarkable turn around in our batting to take this one.
This has been a wonderful England side but it unfortunatly looks like the wheels are coming off - at the worst possible time

Well I've think I've just got over that debacle. Here's some snaps from the fantastic new Adelaide Oval:
Sat here for most of the test (Riverbank mid level). Amazing seats right below the ABC commentary box.
Watched the Johnson spell from up here (Riverbank upper)
View of the eastern stands
The famous old scoreboard at the Cathedral end. Very pretty , but It's bloomin' hard work watching a game from the (infamous) hill that sits in front of it mind..
A view of the Riverbank stand - it's massive!
A view of the unfinished western stand(s).
Overall I think they've done a great job with the old girl. Especially if you compare to the concrete monstrosity that is the 'Gabba.
