I don't think Conway is good enough yet, sorry to say it but I think he'd be really found out against the defenders in Scotland's group.

Does not work consistently hard enough in my view and positional play needs work. A raw talent, but can improve certainly.

I know it seems unlikely based on results but I wonder if anyone else thinks if McKenna departs to Brighton whether ipswich might come in for Manning.

I know it appears very unlikely based on form and reputation but it would be a very similar appointment in terms of profile and way of working.

A good left field bet ? Or is my post season imagination running away with me !

Next England manager odds ? .....

They do. I mentioned on this thread how you would always see him at away games and for sometime (completely wrongly and with utmost respect to both gentleman) thought he was Bristol Boy!

He would sometimes get in the old supporters club in The Grandstand, my old man used to like to chat with him as we were making a very similar journey for home games.

    Yes time does fly.

Had time for everyone, a great gift.

Martin was beyond all of us. He followed City home and away for more than 50 years while living in South London. He was so positive and brought City fans together at away games all over the country. I spent hours with him on trains and night buses. He loved his friends and family and was chatting to me during 99% of my abysmal match reports. The best City fan ever.

Two years tomorrow since he left us, as I recall. Time flies but the memories remain.

Is this the most bizarre topic ever?

We have Shelton’s Bum Gravy, Tinnion’s Turnips and Barnards Bumhole discussing loins. With zero context.

I’m absolutely fascinated to see where this goes.

We don't do egos and we don't do logic.

We talk about SAF, Pep and Klopp. But you could make a very good case that Ancelotti may be the greatest manager of all time.

    Very good case, likeable too.

    What an almighty **** up.
