    Hate quoting myself sorry!

Thats how I took that statement…..Renew now or very soon as we may not sell you a season ticket! I hope that was not what was meant, however I won’t renew mine until I see commitment to support THEIR guy in all areas where necessary!

Personally I think we have players who are coming through who are earning a chance plus Benarous Atkinson etc, so I don’t necessarily mean purchases. But if we sell Conway/Knight/Pring etc I expect to have an idea how that is to be reinvested.

The CFO of BS stated on FBC words to the effect that there never was a ‘nest egg’ and much of the money was already spent. Thus I’m not sure where the nest egg comment came from but that particular bloke needs to STFU!

For my tuppence I’ll buy mine in July if I see that commitment. If they won’t sell me one then, if I deem it worthy they shalt GO **** Themselves !

we might both be exeter fans by then anyway mate🤣  (or plymuff)

What the recent run and a number of performances has done is allow Liam to be judged with an open mind next season. Start well, he’s in a good place with the fans, start middling there’s still the niggles there but he’ll still get time, start badly and he’s right under the pump. Liams recent record has earned him that now in the eyes of most fans.

What have the hierarchy done to earn a change of mind from many fans who just don’t trust them? What have they improved? I don’t think fans will be as inclined to let them off the hook as easily as Manning tbh. However results are going.

you see it that way and so do I but i dont think some people give a hoot how the club is run or how people are treated so long as their team wins games .

as you know, ive had enough of the lansdowns poor decisions and lies to never go back until they are gone.

some wont understand why i feel this way, i think you and many others do, the difference seems to be in the kind of person that you are.

im happy with where i am at and with everybody elses choices, it is after all, ones own choice.

I've been told that Jamie McAllister has been sacked after he allegedly headbutted someone at the awards evening.

Seen the above on twitter, could be bollocks

I thought it was just minibuses they liked headbutting

    see you Jimmy, 'crack'

  4. if they had kept Nige on and we had,or very nearly made top six, it would have been much more difficult to not renew his contract as opposed to on a string of bad results.  this is where i think they saw the health thing as a good excuse to pull the trigger early so as they werent put in a difficult situation later on. that would explain the lies about the results being the reason.

i do know the coaching staff etc all believed they were on the verge of success, probably why lansdown hid the scott money as he knew he didnt want nige as manager any longer than he had to.

basically, they used him to get them out of the shit and his job was done.

thats just my take on it, all will come out one day by which time everyone will have moved on and it wont matter any more. to the majority anyway.

Ummm….its a public forum where you don’t need a membership to view?

I know Liams denied being on social media before but I’ll be damned sure that the club (and we’ve seen posters here from the club) are tasked with trawling social media to gauge the fanbase - that’s not a bad thing, it’s sensible management. It follows that they’d then brief the manager/head coach.

    This isn’t the masons.

great OP Silvo, thankyou. with regard to them knowing what's being suggested on here at times also gets across by people like myself who walk up to them and ask if there is any truth in rumours etc,  doesn't happen that often but used to have some great chats with Joe Bryan up the village. Nige was very accommodating too. Liam Manning  must bump into people at times, would be a bit odd if he didn't . wouldn't mind betting one or two people on here know him outside of ashton gate or the hpc.

Tins, Manning and all and sundry that might not always fit the vision of the well versed on here with all things football. Lets face it we have a wealth of members on here that simply know better than those that are paid professionals at the club and can prove it by an endless stream of spread sheets pie charts and whatever to back it up.

As said, I understand football fans by nature are opinionated and full of shit if you will, but the constant name calling and quite honestly unjustified personal ,yes snide remarks is becoming the main feature on here and quite frankly it's dull and boring, just now quoting a Tins signing all those years ago as crap.

I enjoy debating, and I do on other sites, but I hate bullying, yes I might have a poke with the groupies comment etc but that is not really insulting, just a dig.

As I said this cynical Bristol thing is very much a reality, if you need a reason why this club has not played in the Prem well this I am sure is a factor, a sprinkling of blind support as seen with Luton, Palace Forest all clubs much the same as us in size have it in spades.

It seems on here being a loyal City fan is very much ridiculed.

Finally, currently I feel happy with the club than I have for a few years, including the Pearson reign, I did find him oppressive and not at all engaging, and this I am sure is why he was sacked, by us and others.

if being a loyal city fan means i have to be like you then im sorry, i dont want to be one

Not sure I have seen it mentioned anywhere on here But Brian Tinnion was on the sober sports talk podcast and he was talking about pre season and that the Community game is pencilled in again and also that the last pre season game before the season season starts we have a foreign team coming over to play, he did not say who against or where it will played HPC or Ashton gate but something different to previous years.

    wrexham?

With the upturn in results over the recent weeks and some slightly better displays ( much better yesterday ) are some fans starting to see a future under manning .
I have always maintained under both managers with a fully fit squad ( which isn’t often with city ) there is a team in there somewhere - The consistency of performances is my biggest concern when good we’re more than decent but when we’re poor we’re piss poor

hard to disagree with any of that. just hope now we dont get a late frost and kill the new shoots

Oh dear. We live in hope!

Giving one to Bristol City is a rather permanent course of action! Besides we know they have a few, more often than not left ones, as has been revealed.

i can send you a rotten walnut from my garden if you want to lie to them, they do like the odd fib or two

Weds out of bottom three for first time since the first week of the season?

"They're going down, they're going down. Brum are going down."

they deserve it after their first manager change this season, monumentally backfired on them,

There is no such rule; the vast (90%+ IMO) majority of City fans love Tinnion and see through this parochial anti-City brigade who frequently occupy OTIB. Pearson was solely responsible for his own demise whatever his little fan club would like to say.

interesting that you say solely responsible,  i cant prove  anything different yet but dont for one minute believe that is true. do you have anything to clarify that it is or is this just your opinion?

im not looking for an argument or anything, just wondering how you are so confident to make such a bold statement.

  13. this could be a great game for LM, Norwich need to win, a good display from us,even a draw, would not surprise me in the slightest knowing how we play better against these top teams.

back four might struggle today though without vyner, hopefully dickie is back and on his game.

not a clue which way to predict it though, so going to say 2-0 either way

I'd be signing up any decent players Rovers produce (hopefully getting them to run down their contracts) or want to sign, and loaning them out to their close rivals.

You can rest assured that under my stewardship I'd just mess with the Gas, and the City team would go to rack and ruin.

Actually, hold that thought.  I could probably do more damage by taking them over directly.

you could buy them a whole new set of clubs in the bag and bankrupt them, or at least make it very very difficult for them to maintain league status. id love to see them in the vanarama again, that was just soooo funny, punching goalkeepers etc etc. lovely bunch deserve so much worse
