  1. ditto that, someone else who realises our problems are not going to go away with no real professional proven leadership anywhere now
  2. i was 60 in january but the name rings very strong in my memory somewhere. pretty sure my first match was 1969,would he have still been at AG then? edit, just read first 2 pages, obvious why i remember his name now. over 60s title threw me
  3. are these the first two times he has changed tactics during the games? it reads like it from post match talk and highlight that ive seen. previous games have felt like 'thats the plan and we are sticking with it' if it is the first two times, what has taken so long for the penny to drop and think something else might work? its going to be a tough journey if hes learning on the job and it takes this long to grasp something so glaringly obvious
  4. a bit off if you ask me,if he couldnt last another 8 mins of added time, he could have had a packed lunch in his own goal without stopping the other 21 players
  5. what was all that on 46mins? looked like a picnic stop for the man c no7
  6. looked painful the way he just stopped. feel for him,he did look gutted as graham said
  7. thats their equivalent to the AG3 service
  8. this is where im at too. already said if they made changes id be more than happy for him to be given another chance with new leaders above him but that was never going to happen so im at a bit of a loss as to what to like and not to like. the wins are great, the team performing better is great but the shower of shit upstairs is still in place so i dont think i will be 100% happy for quite a while to come
  9. big thing proved to me today is the players werent just playing up to the cameras. not much incentive for them beating a crap plymouth team. however, they have helped manning secure his place so sort of suggests they do like him. weve all seen dead rubbers played out in previous seasons, too many in recent years, today didnt seem like one. they wanted to win
  10. that was soo funny,to be fair to that kid,he/she didnt give up all game, all done in great spirit aswell, respect to the fgr fans having a good laugh with him/her. will definitely remember that more than the game. (there was a rather overweight child at the end of the stockport fans leaning over giving the home fans in the south stand the big un all game,no nastiness or anything, just straight forward honest banter) the diabetes chant was as close as it got .
  11. cant see us getting any for a while unless we practice our theatricals a bit. too honest still in that respect. need to be a bit more clever in laying it on a bit
  12. no its not, apologies to you and anyone else my post might offend, i will remove it as it is wholly inappropriate and will try harder to appreciate nice gestures by the club.
  13. edit. post removed . inappropriate behaviours
  14. yes, the lane to the ground was flooded in places which made dodging some potholes impossible but i was in a works loan car so it didnt matter too much. i left my car behind as i wasnt sure where i was parking and didnt want my mirrors hit off but i neednt have worried, the roads around the houses up there had loads of space
  15. im quite happy to go again, really enjoyed the space to move freely and a table and chairs to eat and watch tv before match. so easy to get to off m5 too
  16. did the other guy go down to try and win a free kick for it?
  17. deffo aint that pillock, he can spell
  18. and you got entertainer award from the home fans in pre match warm up when you caught that wayward shot square in the knackers
  19. RedOxo claimed mehmetis assist with us being up there, parking was a doddle too, because we rocked up early to watch the city game, the road opposite into the houses had loads of spaces and 2 minutes out back up the lane after. next away play day we are going to try exeter, with more time to plan it, i can meet up with you and share a car down if you fancy it. probably be able to work it for a city alternative match day with the new tv deal no regrets from me about going, i wouldnt have gone to the gate anyway but did feel a bit sorry for RO dragging him away from possibly our second best performance this season under LM, at least from the games i have seen.
  20. that is very close to how it was but fgr did have one shot, completely nuts mind, a direct free kick from inside their own half into a strong head wind which went wide by about 5 yards. knowing city had already won made it easier to watch especially seeing a team made to look 10 times worse than city when they are shite too
  21. best laugh ive had in ages mate, thankyou. added bonus having a nice seat and decent nosh while watching the city game. fgr fans were most accommodating too.(couldnt help myself when i cheered mehmetis goal, immediately thinking i might have dropped us in it) feel sorry for cotts tho, cant see how hes going to get a tune out of his squad, their keeper was ok ,kept them in it and stockport just rallied at 3-0. too easy for them
  22. Never tasted mud before but if its like this coffee i got,its not too bad, bit weird but drinkable
  23. a little hint for you maybe
