Well there’s lesson one then. After that shit show today it was obvious some platets were already on the beach. So next year the players need to come back to Bristol whatever. It might just focus their minds on the job in hand

Sadly the club now appears to be on a one way downward spiral at increasing pace both on & off the pitch. People at all levels are largely incapable of doing their jobs. Our owner continues to think he is untouchable & operates a dictatorship that has consistently made poor decisions for over 20 years.

If our regression under the Lansdowns, Tinnion & Manning continues & ultimately ends in relegation next season at what point does the fan base turn on the owner?

It would be a shame given the financial support he has provided over the years & what he has done with the stadium. However the footballing mismanagement of our club at the highest level is beginning to look more & more like complete incompetence & downright negligence.

We’ve played pretty damn well there to contain Ipswich to next to nothing going forward.

Not too much going forward for us either and playing Mehmeti is like playing with 10. The amount of running that Knight does is insane.

Most importantly I think that half demonstrates that Manning has definitely not lost the dressing room.

If we end up getting relegated this season then we need to see some 80’s style protests against the dreadful mob supposedly leading this club. There’s a lot of water to pass under the bridge yet but if relegation happens I hope it absolutely kicks off against the Lansdowns.

Harry has nailed it & the fact that so many roads now lead back to Sid is hugely concerning.

It’s not like I’m trying to take the piss by taking a friend who never goes, it’s my son in law who is a member who could sit near me rather than somewhere else in the ground. All that’s happening now is he will get his ticket, I will pay her £5 and a seat goes empty. 

Get this post to Jon Lansdown. It illustrates in two paragraphs why the cheap under 12 Season Ticket system is flawed. People are openly abusing the good intentions of the club and it illustrates why the South Stand has waves of empty seats each match.

I agree with the OP.

18 years of coaching experience to produce that level of boring, tepid & emotionless football.
It’s a real concern of what might lay ahead if the players aren’t allowed or are afraid to take any risks whatsoever.
